Here's a handy chart. Luckily, Whoro is rather far from the furry grade.
WAIT wait wait, now that I think a bit.... @Neichus, which form are we talking about here?
I agree with this. I went in-depth on the subject in the innovation thread and a few other threads prior in the video games forum, but all the streamlining/"innovations" added into the game killed it for me. (as well as my guild gradually disbanding as people got old/had kids, etc)
WotLK was the perfect balance of overindulgence, depth and constant activity, if you wanted to take part in it. The PvP was dynamic as hell too, with a few clearly broken setups and a lot of viable hybrids/mixes in 3v3 and even 2v2.
I feel greatly enlightened.
I hope you realize the question was in jest.
Good point: the humanoid form.
I would still play except being a raid leader was too exhausting and I always end up being a leader in guilds so I can't "just play."
On a related note, am I the only person that enjoyed having like 15 potential raids a week, if I wanted to in WotLK? I tended to clear every single 10-man normal mode with a pug each week, as well as do progress on all 25-mans with my guild. In the mean time, I'd grind out dungeons/quest chains for gear/lore and heirlooms. Then with any spare time, I'd run battlegrounds 24/7.
WotLK pretty much drew me into the PvP side heavily too. I was considered one of the best Hunter PvP'ers on Silvermoon towards the end of the expansion and for a lot of Cataclysm too, even though I was relatively inexperienced.
There was something enthralling about the Dalaran Sewers arena and how tricky/skillful you had to be to survive as a Hunter in there that I loved (this was when the deadzone was a thing and clever trap usage/shot cycling was a requirement).
Further addendum: Playing Bejewelled in-game add-on while waiting between games/groups.
Exactly the same for me. Played WoW from early WotLK to the end of Pandaria with the same people (well, obviously a lot of them stopped along the way but new ones appeared). What I miss the most is having fun with friends and competing among ourselves who'd do more damage and shit like this. Good old days.
Had to stop playing when I started electrical engineering, simply no time left to fuck around playing a time consuming MMO =(
I still liked Hunter a lot in Cata, I always played as MM when I could, switched to SV briefly when it was cool, but always reverted back to MM, until they nerfed Readiness completely. I never liked BM at all, because of how retarded the pet was to control at times and it just got kited hard in serious PvP. Plus the stupid glitch where if it couldn't quite get eye contact with an enemy, it would just kind of sit there and ignore commands, trying to spam attacks at someone it could, but couldn't see.
I also loved playing on DK too though. Shit was ridiculous in early Frost Dual Wield and in Cata I think I went Unholy for the most part. I liked the pet usage.
My DK was called Delayce and my Hunter... was Shinzai. (Big images, old BG scoreboards)
Spoiler:
Necro Strike --> Necro Strike --> Necro Strike --> Necro Strike --> Necro Strike --> Necro Strike --> Necro Strike --> Necro Strike --> Necro Strike --> Necro Strike --> Necro Strike
Playing Shadowcleave in Cata was so much fun.
I can't wait to find out the real reason I lose games is because I'm actually just shit
wew comp is intense
