    So good news, sorta.

In Denmark the screenings was supposed to end tomorrow, but in some areas, screenings has extended a week and now ends on July 13th instead!

Again, shows how good it did in Denmark and it is also now number 1, again, on Kino.dk's user rated movies list

Show me any authoritative source that classifies SW as SF.

It was some flash mob action -- you don't even have to register on the site to rate it 6.

It's not "SF" per se, it has many ELEMENTS of SF, as well as elements of Fantasy (even Western!). Warcraft it's the same: has a mix of both (and many others genres).

It's both. This discussion amounts to whether avatar is anime or a cartoon.

It's a space opera because the term was coined when people asked Lucas what it was, but it s under the umbrella of sci fi. It's like firefly and others.

And also, most people really don't care. 99% of people who go support the movie would call it sci fi. The 1% that changed their religion to Jedi call it a space opera like they are some upright atheist in an elevator. They are technically right, but they wind up just being annoying.

In all fairness there wasn't much science in the newest star wars with its magic missile deathplanet.

Just compare the number of Warcraft reviews (1800) with those of other movies. And you can vote anonymously.

He was banned a while ago, not for very long though. Hopefully he'll get banned again and for a lot longer. He's like a cancer on here.

What bothers you in that regard ?

Read the link I provided, it can offer some insight.
Don't discard it simply because of the word the genre name contains.

    Warcraf doesnt have Sci-Fi elements
The shot of the space and the planet doesnt make it sci-fi, it just shows the different worlds of orcs and humans.
And even the Draenei don't have a "spaceship".

again I would respect those who use the term but personally I would not prefer it, it just reeks of 'lameness'.

It is not a cool term

And why do normal people have to be 100 percent correct again? I am ok with 99 percent correct if they let me use Sci fi ....the general term.

nothing, just allow us to use both terms, or the term that we choose to

Maybe getting back, and concentrate on Warcraft the movie now?

Starwars is not that good anymore either, so you might call it want you want or what is correct.

Lucas has sold it to Disney, they may call it as they see fit.

So what if you can vote anonymously? That changes nothing. Kino.dk is not a website that is filled with Warcraft fanboys or any of the like. So you have no legit arguement for the opinion and reactions being fake.

Why would people even fake their opinion? Seriously... if you hate the movie THAT MUCH, go sue Legendary or something! Gosh... we are tired of your negative impact. Its probably your fault this thread is being so inactive :P

You post in Facebook/reddit/whatever fangroup, and people come to vote, delete cookies and vote again. There is no other reason why Warcraft has under 1800 reviews and Civil War, a far superior movie, has less than 500.

Why would people fake their opinions? "Oh critics are so-o wrong, the movie deserves better! Let's pad IMDB/whatever ratings!"

The thread is inactive because there's nothing to discuss about.

On the contrary, he's the reason why this thread is pointlessly active, he keeps triggering the most cretin discussions imaginable. Then again, people must be bored as hell here if he receives any attention to begin with, as "feeding the troll" is pretty much all this thread is about at this point.

So right now you are claiming that this is actually why so many people like the movie? That they are all in fact fake profiles with fake opinions? What even...
