Im worried about the economy of gathering profs in Legion tbh. You get like 10 or more per node at rank 3 and you dont need many mats for recipes, so the price of ore and herbs is going to be below 1g if im guessing right. Not only that, it will continue to fall even further as more stock gets added, and theres less demand for the mats.

WoD showered everyone in free herbs and ore. You need to go out with a herbalist in Legion. That alone will guarantee the price will rise.

Hopefully. Im hoping that the fact that they will be cheaper means people will be to lazy to go get them, so prices will stabilize at 1-2g per and only the dedicated and poor will farm them. At 10 per node at 1.5g per thats 15g per node. In the past it may have been 2.5g per at 3 per node so it may turn out making more money. Thats only if enough people decide its not worth it. Its going to be interesting for sure. I have a feeling ill have to be farming again to make my gold. No sweet sweet garrison cash this time =/

Price should be higher than it was in WoD for sure, but not a ton

Either way, I imagine farming mats the first few weeks will still make bank, so I may just let my artifact get behind and farm mats a few hours a day. Make a few hundred k and call it a good xpac launch.

Of course it does - everything up to the release is just working out the starting point. That's what alpha and beta are dude.

Not to be a pessimist, but I don't think it will be easy to do that right at the start. No flying, no artifact, and level-phasing enemies. I will wait until I don't get squashed.

farmin is easy pre-110 and at 110 it gets easy again at ilevel 830+

Tank specs steamroll everything that gets in their way. Dps might have more of an issue farming.

But tbh nodes arent all that common outside Suramar, and they are all personally phased. So everyone will have an equal shot at them. Mat farming is only going to be a thing for skinners and rogues imo.

For a person that can normally only squeeze in an hour or so a day worth of play, what kind of goals should I set each day (a world quest, rep farming etc?)

I would say the emissary quest first (chance of leg etc)

I was talking about Sylvanas's new model as Warchief, all the updated leader portraits, Anduin as King, Vol'jin, Varian, Thrall and etc removed from the loading screens..
