MM: too RNG dependent
BM: too boring
SV: .... melee
So the answer is pretty clear.
I actually like BM and SV its not perfect, and its way different than before, but i can see with some tweeks, it becoming more enjoyable.
glad we are seeing this several weeks prior to the actual drop, this way they can listen to the community and tweek spells/skills and such.
over all im sticking with hunter, been playing one for a long long time.
A lot of people are freaking out because they aren't quite intelligent enough to realise that some of the rotation is broken since they are missing important artifact talents/traits.
I am a very casual player, played BM for as long as I can remember. Obviously it is missing skills and a correct rotation with Legion coming out. But I find it almost unplayable at the moment. A lot of standing around, waiting for CDs, and using auto attack.
survival is amazing.
yes its not your old hunter but most hunter mains dont even give it a chance.
BM? Yes. It became more fun spec than it was in WoD. The only strange thing is that Blizzard didn't improve the Stampede. It has absolutely random and disgusting pets to summon. I have tons of rare pets in my pocket, i dont want to see ugly monkeys and hyenas.

The new SV is a cool, solid spec. Its nice to get to use my old weapons again that have been stored in my bank for forever. The only thing the spec is lacking is a moment of greatness that interrupts your regular rotation.
I am not very happy with the other two specs to be honest. Overall i would say hunter is functional, but not exciting to play.
Short Answer;
SV - yes
MM - meh
BM - No
Longer Answer;
SV - abilities interact well, high skill cap with some real choices to make in talent selections to suit your preferences & playstyle.
MM - If you don't mind RNG then it's actually quite good. Some good talent choices with a few that are straightforward right/wrong.
BM - NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooo.
Been playing Hunter since BC and out of all the changes to classes from x-pac to x-pac hunter this time has taken the biggest hit. This is how I "PERSONALLY" feel about hunter. I feel like someone has broken into my house and stole everything I own. I know who it was, when they did it, why they did it, how they did it and theres absolutly nothing I can do about it. Its a maddening experiance. All I can really say is "goodbye my friend I will miss you". Just so happens I have a alt I've been playing on and off since Wrath and it seems to have turned out pretty good (shaman).
The hit to the hunter class has effected me more than I thought it would. It has taken a game that I have greatly enjoyed playing for years and gutted it. I kinda feel like I've lost a friend. It is tragic.
SV is incredibly fun! Yes there is no super fancy ability, but the gameplay feels great! I especially love to play it in BGs.
MM and BM not really tested, but sofar kinda boring - will give them both a chance though. All I can say so far is that if you like melee SV is the real deal. No let me rephrase that. If you didn't like melee so far give SV a chance because it feels like melee/mid range hybrid in PVP. Great spec.
I joked about survival should be a melee support class that builds tents and campfires at the beginning of BRF when it was all the rage, our hunters were rather butthurt about it, but at least I came pretty close to predicting the future, at least they're melee now.
More on topic though, for someone who doesn't play hunter I think survival was pretty fun on the beta, I had to give it a quick tryout as it was new. But what do I know, not really my class.
I'm extremely disappointed with the changes.
Survival I'm disregarding because it's melee and therefore doesn't interest me.
Beast Mastery, which was fun in WoD, is really boring now. No intelligent decisions left in the spec pretty much, and you need Chimaera Shot for it to be even somewhat playable.
Marksman for me is also in really bad shape. There's too much RNG debuff stacking without sidewinders, and with sidewinders you just have way too much downtime unless you get super lucky with Lock and Load procs (which you don't). They need to increase the proc chance on Lock and Load or make Sidewinders recharge faster. Spending 60% of your time hardcasting aimed shot also sucks when you're used to being mobile. :/
I can't believe the Hunter made it to live in this state, especially given all of the negative feedback Blizzard received during Alpha/Beta. Sigh...

I'm in love with sv PVE feeling. If I wasn't a tank I would play sv as main char 100%. (and the artifact is gorgeous !)
MM is a bit disapointing to be honest. I have hard time leveling on beta without a pet, and black arrow taunt is not enough. Is nice in dungeon imo, I like the marked shot.
BM is the closest to what hunter were, but still different.
SV's artifact definitely completes the spec with fists of f-... fury of the eagle, BM really doesn't affect the -gameplay- portion outside of the lelthunderpets ability, though it does spawn hati which is what the spec is balanced around, and MM makes the spec slightly less meh since you can force a vuln proc with windburst.

i started leveling a SV hunter to 110 after running into the Revil Kost escort quest bug on my main UH dk (faction changing to horde to complete the artifact and class hall intro then switched back worked) and ended up enjoying it a lot. You can get some big hits and still have a decent burst AOE. Wasnt really liking it much for longer fights or sustained AOE (too much down time/cooling down) but for the leveling experience it was a fun time. I love the harpoon especially once you unlock the artifact ability to reset its CD after a kill you can just hop from mob to mob.
BM feels like it's missing an ability from it's core rotation with the amount of downtime it often has.
The only ability the artifact gives to BM is 60 second cooldown. Pretty much everything else is a percentage damage increase or similar.
So please tell me more about how I'm just not intelligent and not considering the artifact.

Why would I give it a chance? I picked a hunter specifically to be a ranged class. Survival is not a ranged spec. It is very simple.
What talents are you using for BM? I was using Chimera Shot and Barrage and I felt like I had very little downtime last night, there was always some button I could be hitting. I suppose if you're using Stomp/Dire Frenzy and/or AMoC/Volley you'll end up with more dead time in your rotation.
