And for the record, the ruling mention specific cases of libel

-saying that the kid mother was used the money raised for the kid for buying swag (libel. She got 7000 $ for it)
-dubbing on a clip of the kid singing a pornographic song about the pope being a pedophile. (libel...and managed to get the local parish cut their help to the family)
-and above everything, the core of the ''joke''-the kid was on make-a-wish fondation, and was supposed to die but have not (ur ur ur) ,implying strongly that the kid was a liar. He was never on make a wish.

You can use the bullshit sympathy game with anything, and it's especially easy in this case, but that doesn't mean everyone will fall for it. Some sane people still exist.

What a ridiculous idea, people who willingly put themselves into the public arena accept there may be some negative attention sent their way and adults generally need less protection than children. So that's a yes is it? A 9-year-old singing for the Pope should expect it to be as controversial and open to ridicule as someone running for President, and therefore it's perfectly okay to bully them and have their lives made miserable. What a ridiculous view of the world you have.
