Speaking of futility (like in the post about last shutouts), apparently the Jaguars have not had a winning record since week 1 of 2011. They started 1-0 then and have been .500 or worse for every single game since then. Next closest is Bucs with week 12 in 2012, then the Saints (!) with week 17 2013. Every other team has had a winning record in the past 2 years.

That's pretty amazing.

With the QB situation for some teams he could end up someplace as a backup, or catch on during the season because someone else got hurt. There are a lot of teams with basically no real backup still, and he might be fine on a not Jeff Fisher offense.

Not only did he get signed....but has 12 mil guaranteed + 3 mil of incentives for 1 year of play, my guess is if he hits those incentives he'll be signing something more long term than a 1 year deal after this contract.
