Third Person Games that are really fun

Me and the wife had a blast playing Batman Arkham city lastnight together. we beat it we are gonna start on Arkham Origins next. We didn't play the first game but i caught her up to speed on the story but we might go back to that one later on.

My question is can any of you guys recommend me some great third person games Or Open world games that would be good to share the controller with.

We have a PC and we are picking up a xbox one on the 3rd. I had alot of xbox one games but i didn't have anyone to share the fun with. so i got rid of it. now im gonna pick up another one. I would probably go ps4 but like i said I had alot of xbox games on my account.

Any suggestions I would be very grateful.

as far as taste she likes third person better. but open world fps would be fine too.

    2) Unrack
    3) Crank out 15 reps
    4) Be ashamed of constantly skipping leg day

If you're into exaggeration, Warhammer 40K Space Marine is a fun romp.

its weird because i only play Skyrim in first person, and ESO in 3rd person. Skyrim in 3rd person is weird, and ESO in first person is just unplayable for me

Third person OR open world games. Skyrim is the latter.
and then in bold - as far as taste she likes third person better. but open world fps would be fine too.

Oh, fair point. Hadn't noticed that the OP mentioned OWG somewhere in his post.

I do actually as I suffer with motion (simulation) sickness. I have adjusted the FOV as well but all the narrow tunnels still really bother me.

Back on topic Dragon Age is probably my favourite RPG series.

I'm playing Baldur's Gate 2 (again) Extended Edition at the moment. Not sure if that fits your requirements but worth a look into for the story and exploration side if you have never played it.

    What about the Fallout series?

(No idea if any of these are on console as I am a PC only gamer)

Both the Darksiders games are really fun if you like spectacle fighters. I prefer the first one, but they're both pretty good.

Dragon Age is, but at least the first one (Origins) is so badly ported that it's not worth the money.

    Darksiders.

Hack & Slash combat with climbing/platforming and practical puzzle-solving, it's like an amalgamation of Devil May Cry, Zelda and Portal. It's also full of familar voice actors.

I would recommend The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. One of my favourite games of all time. Third-person, open world RPG with great story, pretty good combat and decent replay-ability due to your actions affecting the outcome of many aspects of the story. The DLC is great too.

Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor (If you liked the Arkham games this is a must buy)

Deus Ex: Human Revolution (Director's Cut)

Dead Rising 2 and 3 -- Because who doesn't enjoy killing zombies with chainsaws attached to the end of a kayak paddle?

If you're into a bit of over-the-top or even the absurd, the Just Cause series and the latest entries of the Saints Row series might be up your alley.
