Quick question: How do you get to the broken isles? Normally with a prepatch there should be a ship/airship travel route established by now (ofc not funtional right now).
Where is it? And please don't tell me they just use a portal to get you there!

It's a city of mages. Of course it's going to involve teleporting.

After teleporting Dalaran from over Kara to the Broken Isles we get a third hearthstone that lets us go to Dalarn(like we have the Garrison one now)

Other than that, there is no old fashioned way

I have no idea how to get the
- Fel Hacker (1h strength Axe) I assume A specific Warrior Specc or Prot Paladin ?
- Corrupted Argus Gavel (1h intellect Mace)
- Wrathguard Shortblade (1h Agility Sword)

I've currently set certain loot specializations for specific items to drop from the boxes, but it would be lovely if anyone has knowledge about where the items listed above can be found (aka; which specc). I'll swap the Speccs around once I obtained the items I'm currently farming.
The eluded Staff (Staff of the Inquisition) is from what I guess best obtained on a Mage (but which specc?), Warlock or Priest, but the proper speccs elude me.

I got the Mace on my Elemental shaman from the invasions if that helps

meaning what?

dalaran is in northrend, the kirin tor ports the city to karazhan, there we get to do stuff and at the end we witness the council of six teleporting the city to the broken isles.
and ta dah!
we are there and getting our artifact quests!

they made a special cinematic for the teleportation spell....
and all happens after 2 campaigns and a couple of quests.

Vanilla and Wrath are the only expansions where we haven't used portal, and people are complaining how they can't just enter a portal to Wrath Dalaran in Stormwind/Orgrimmar

You initially get there by going to Dalaran over Deadwind Pass and there's a special event where the city teleports. This is only one time per character of course.

After that you go to one of the side rooms in Stormwind Keep and there's a portal to Dalaran.

Call me old fashioned, but I like a ship or an airship. Gives it more flavor and immersion in the world.

If you have a powerful group of Mages on your side, who are contributing so much to the cause that they are moving their entire city to a danger zone to act as your staging point, why would you use any method other than portals to get there?
They're already risking their lives and their homes, why would they not also just give you a teleport there?

Plus once you can fly I'm sure you'll be able to get up there whenever you want. You could also use a flight point.

3) portals are all over the place, in your class hall, in org/sw etc.

It looks to me like you're just looking for a reason to hate on WoW.
You wont be leaving the Broken Isles a lot so there isn't any reason for a sophisticated system to travel there. And the extra hearthstone is useful because that will give me 2 HS to dalaran(since it has more ports than Shrine so I'll set it there)

you can even buy the new kirin tor ring or bind your first normal hearthstone to the new dalaran.

It wouldn't even make sense to go there by ship since there is a lot of stuff that can happen on your way there, and there isn't any established Ally/Horde hub on the island where you could land/dock. Ships wouldn't work with a flying city either
