Expansions after Legion? (Possible Legion Spoilers)

I know, i know, Legion is not even out yet but from the direction this is going and what we already know from the BETA whats left for us to defeat/explore?

    - There's Azshara but i don't think she will have an entire expansion of her own, more like a major patch.

    - Argus? Taking the fight to the Burning Legion main planets? Maybe even the Twisting Nether.

    - Bolvar and the Scourge. Unless they are friendly now and will actually help us against the BL.

    - Old Gods dedicated expansion? Maybe put Azshara and Neptulon in patch X.1.0.

    - Void Lords?

    - Go with the Azeroth unborn titan to their main planet, if they have one? Maybe it's one of the BL planets now and we have to reach the Titans secrets before them?

Let's discuss it and tell me if i am forgetting any main topic.

I'm considering going back and watching the Gamescom 2015 and all Blizzcon 2015 wow panels for some hints, since last night out of boredom I watched the Blizzcon 2015 WoD 1st panel and Q&A and it actually had a lot of hints for Legion.

    Here are some:
-WoD will flow into the next expansion with it's final tier.(which seems to be their new thing since Cata/MoP)
-You'll see some Titan influence on Draenor, but they left the world early on. The later expansions will focus more around the titans.(question was about titans on draenor)
-Wrathion will only have a small cameo in WoD but they'll be focusing on him more later.(Legion had a Wrathion questline in Alpha)

There's a couple more I can't remember off the top of my head.
But going by this, Azshara has a strong possibility. Argus too, tho it could go both way of a patch or expansion for Azshara, Old Gods and Argus.

The Void Lord expansion would in my opinion be good because we would see more ethereal stuff.

Tho, personally I would like it to be something like the other side of Azeroth (the kids book that came out/should come out hints at this) or explore more of the Draenor planet, since Draenor is just one of the (smaller?) continents there. Pretty much something like completely new like Pandaria was.

We will go back in time to stop entire WoD from happening.

Personally my expansion roadmap prediction is that the next one will be an islands/undersea expansion about Naga and N'Zoth (with some trolls and goblins thrown in, and maybe kul tiras) followed by the Argus expansion.
Could easily be wrong though, I don't work at Blizzard.

Then what happens after that should have become clear from the subplots in one of those two.
Void beasts? Perhaps with playable Ethereals?
Returning to Draenor for some reason (though I'd rather not)?
A new Old God crashing into the planet? What if that Old God is the expansion's continent? That would be cool.

You guys kinda forgot about Illidan in all this. He will apparently become a being of light or something, defeating the legion is his main plan so where do we go from this?

Forgot about the possible other side of Azeroth. We don't even know it exists. I think people just started that rumor and Blizzard didn't deny it because it's a good trick in the sleeve if they feel like they need it someday. Don't think we will see it tho.

There's at least the Ogre continent and Farahlon left in alternate Draenor. Why would we go back to those 2 places tho?

There's no timestamp given on when that happens. It could be in this expansion, or way in the future.
The Anduin comic gives us enough time for him to become an old man before the enemies of the Light are truly defeated, so there's no rush.

You mean this? "The naaru Xe'ra, one of the first naaru, is seeking Illidan and believes he is the "child of Light and Shadow" destined to end the age of demons."

I think he will do it, or be very important in the legion's defeat. That can be easily included in the Argus/Twisting Nether expansion i pointed.

Of course not, but we can't really debate on something we don't know nothing about.

Just a champion in the Army of Light (the leader of the army is Anduin)

Well since chronicles it's been confirmed that there's another landmass or continent on the other side of Azeroth, so there's probably going to have something concerning that and since it's established that there's a ton of other worlds in the universe, they could theoretically keep it going forever.

    1. It's been hinted in the Chronicles that there is more to Azeroth (something along the lines of ancient Kalimdor being the largest land mass on the planet). From what I've heard there are some more hints of it in the book about the captains kid that gets stranded.

    2. From what we know there's Farahlon, the Ogre Continent and an Island between Nagrand and Spires. During the events of WoD that's when the Ogre empire was on it's peak of power. Maybe they somehow managed to captured one of the Titan's spirits that Sargeras killed (we know they fled into the Titan keepers, but did they all make it?) and maybe that's why their civilization grew faster than any other on Draenor

    This is the final expansion.

I gonna bet on Argus (a small part of it) being the last Legion daily zone. As a few hint point to it.

And the next expansion will be us hunting the legion. Maybe on Argus, maybe on another planet, maybe on multiple planets (just fewer zone on each obviously). I'm also beting as Sargeras being dealt with, probably not directly in a raid VS him fight. Maybe Azeroth will be awaken ? Maybe the Naaru will finally unite their army of light.

And the expansions after this one, the void start to be the new big ennemy. And you can now start the 10+ years cycle of games against them.

    From what we've seen not.

In the WoD(yes, WoD) panel Metzen said they got expansions lined up like bullets in a 6-shooter, and during a few Legion Q&A's they said for things that they will consider them in future expansions

So void lords appear in the prequel to Legion, where they grab khadgers legs as he enters tomb of sagares. It doubt that is the only / last thing we hear about them - so possible something for next expansion.
We also encounter old god stuff during many artifact quests, and also during this pre event as we enter Ulduar.
Queen Azshara shows up in aszuna during our quests there looking for the pillars of creation.
If anything Legion shows us a lot of enemies, that can be possible expansion or plots leading to ... Something.
Who knows if LK will use the situation to pull some strings and attack us while we are fighting the Legion ?

Exodar is also getting ready to leave azeroth, which can lead to something.

As I see it there are so much that depends on the content patches coming. Lots of possible plots that can lead to interesting stories and adventures.
Personally i would like to see some more old god stuff , something dark and evil

Also, it seems like Anduin's Army of Light battle is gonna be against the Void, not the Burning Legion, so we still have to deal with getting the dragons their powers back in order for Velen's vision to come true.

Isn't that happening only when Anduin is old?

    1. Khadgar thing i'm not sure where its from. Audio Drama?

    2. We basically go around all of Azeroth for artifacts, so meeting the Twilight Hammer Clan worshiping the old gods isn't weird. And there's a Old God in Ulduar so that's normal too. He might've not reacted good that we are back in Ulduar.

    3. Azshara might want the pillar for one of the following:
    a) Empower the 3 remaining Old Gods (Yogg-Saron, C'Thun and N'zoth)
    b) Stop the Legion invading, this is her world too and she hates the Legion
    c) Use it to manifest a Void Lord with the power of Azeroth's Soul

4.The LK cant fully control the scourge, he can barely keep them contained within the walls of Icecrown

That comic seems to be a reference to the battle against the Void

I think Azshara and N'Zoth might show up in Legion's first patch (at least N'Zoth, raising up Ny'alotha to be our patch-zone). Azshara could probably work as an entire expansion on her own though.

Dealing with the Void is a strong possibility. I'm pretty interested in the actual geography of that place.

Probably not exactly on topic, but I'm hoping Legion ends with us expending our artifact power to mirror Dalaran blinking at the start of Legion, and we blink the entire planet elsewhere. That would let us hide from the Legion, let us focus on other themes for a while, and make the next time we encounter a demon much more of an impact.
