I was stopped at a red, looked at my side view mirror, and saw something bright yellow in the grass. I immediately thought, "Why is there a quest giver here?" Then I did a double take and realized it was a bright, yellow fire hydrant....
After that, I immediately thought, "I think I play too much WoW."
Any one else have these weirdly funny WoW IRL moments?

Way back when, when I did play too much WoW, my main was called Frosty. I got to the point I was calling myself Frosty and would have responded to that quicker than my real name. (There are a few people out there who still call me Frosty years later
)

I've tried to check minimaps and use hearthstone few times, and I've played since vanilla when I was like 13, I just turned 24 and it still happens xD

Probably more to gaming in general than specific to WoW (except for the fact that WoW is about all my family plays).. 1) when talking about what's for dinner the conversation includes who is stopping at the store for "mats". 2) When I click on a photo someone sends me in an attempt to pan the camera (and if I'm being honest, feeling more pissed than chagrined when it doesn't work).

when i was lving my mage to 100 about 2 weeks ago after not playing much outside of raiding for a few months before... I made the mistake of doing a /played once i got to 100 on it. The toon was less then a week old and had 40 hours on it...

I played way to much in wrath. I once woke up during the middle of the night. Woke my girlfriend and yelled at her that i didnt have enough mana for the both of us.
Thats when i stopped raiding in Wrath.

one of my buddies came back in Teamspeak from being AFK and we asked him why he let us wait so long.

I've played about 5 hours of WoW cumulatively in the last month.
...I also have 5 toons which are 743+ and 13/13M.
