    Upgrades for video publishing?

So I got me a GoPro for my off-road adventures. Mainly doing 1080@30 to start, plan to move up to 1080@60 soon. Will be publishing to YouTube eventually.

This is my first go round with video publishing/editing and my first few post-edit video exports to my hdd are taking around 10 minutes for a 1 minute clip at 1080@30fps. I don't know enough to say if this is normal and I imagine 60fps clips will be worse.

    My rig:
    I5-4690k at 3.9ghz
    16gb ram
    390x

Is there anything on my comp side that can be easily upgraded to speed up processing and publishing. I imagine a 10-15 minute video would take hours and that seems crazy to me.

Pretty normal times. I suggest waiting with an upgrade to get a newer platform (potentially Kaby Lake or whatever X99 replacement they come up with), buying an i7 for an older platform is just not practical.

No simple upgrades like ram would help?

You have more than enough RAM.
