As much as I grill you Panther, I have more respect for you than a lot of the other conservative posters here. You try to explain your position without resorting to insults, which is all too common among the others.

Trump himself also has done many illegal things. Illegal in the civil offense way, but he's pretty nasty himself. Scamming the elderly with Trump U is just the most recent in a long history of butting heads with the law himself.

I will not be. I really don't want to vote for Hillary (the last several election cycles I've written in Eisenhower because I haven't liked any of my choices) but I'm leaning more and more towards biting the bullet and doing it.
As a friend of mine (Republican) put it, (paraphrasing) "The longer this goes on the more and more people I talk to reach a point where they're like 'I just can't give this man my vote' and just won't be voting this time." For my friend it was when Trump insisted that Obama founded ISIS, then went on that conservative radio show interview and the guy was trying to help him with, "I get what you're saying, he created the situation that led to ISIS." and Trump is "No, I mean he founded it." ".... But he hates ISIS, we're targeting them with drone strikes..." "I don't care, he's the founder."

I'm not strictly liberal or conservative and wouldn't fall under any current Republican or Democrat umbrella and don't really want to vote for either one, but I'm sorry, Trump is a hot mess and I really don't want him as president representing this country. Its gone from past elections of "Ugh, these choices suck, I don't care do whatever you want." to being genuinely concerned about one outcome vs the other.

As seen by current scientific research on US politics, "buying access" IS "buying policy".
Whoever pays for campaign largely get what they want, not what constituents want.

I've gotten interviews because I've known someone and they pulled strings to get me in the room. Does that mean I'm corrupt and evil?
Well, that depends on how bad you think "plutocracy" is. Many think it is indeed corrupt approach, and depending on who pays-to-play it can be evil too.

I think the difference here is when you affect policy and the like with your money, not access. Lobbying is basically this very thing.
Lobbying means declaring it and going through proper channels, not coming in through back door after being denied at front door to present your vision.

Well it appears Trump won't be giving a speech on immigration this week. They are still "modifying" it.

"Donald Trump is attending a fundraiser in Colorado on Thursday but will not make a speech on immigration, his campaign now says, despite national media reports announcing the event.

Lydia Blaha, a spokeswoman for Trump’s campaign in Colorado, said he will not hold an event in coordination with the fundraising trip, as first reported by Univision and other media outlets. The campaign was exploring a Denver-area location for the event, but later reversed course. The campaign told supporters in an email “the speech (Trump) was planning on giving is still being modified.”

What about Trump's makeup tells you he has the mental capacity to select worthwhile judges? Conservative or not...

Then why the fuck do you post here day in and day out if you don't care what people on this forum say? Is it just to hear yourself talk?

What about VP? There are a few examples of men who have illegally killed people that later had their names on the ticket and were voted in. America has a pretty long history of electing people of questionable morality to the office of President.

His official campaign gear appears to be made in America. I don't know if that hat pictured is from his campaign store or not. You can go on any number of websites and get a hat custom embroidered to say anything you want. If you do, I would think chances are, that hat might be made somewhere other than the United States.

Ya, the hat in that tweet doesn't even look close to the hats on his site.

Well, if his campaign gear is made in America, but nothing else is, that makes everything all right then, doesn't it?

Well, it certainly proves the poster that I was replying to wrong, now doesn't it?

You seem to want me to condemn the decision of American designers to have their apparel made overseas in an attempt to maximize profits, towards what end exactly? To show that I believe that Donald Trump is unfit for office? Well, I've already said that. But I cited a lot of other, more substantive reasons for why I think he's unfit, than where he chose to have his clothes made.

To show that Donald Dump is a lying hyppocrite... and you know that. If he was standing true he would have already brought his buisness over, just like those who opposed slavery freed their slaves before campaigning. So he would stand to make a little less? Boo fucking hoo - people would've believed him then, and as of now that, amongst other things, is costing him his presidency - which is worth more in value than whatever losses he would've sustained had he just brought those jobs back here.

"Principles" seems to be more of Democrat thingy, not Republican - as we see by many Republicans ditching Republican party to avoid voting/supporting Trump.

And Trump's "principle" seems to be "profits" - creating environment where he and others can make money manufacturing (in US); as this environment doesn't exist in US today profits have to be made manufacturing elsewhere.

Why don't you just hit reply if you're replying to me? That way I can see your post and reply in a timely fashion.

You're comparing Donald Trump making his clothes overseas to slavery?

I know that Donald Trump is a lying hypocrite. I've already said that. I've pointed that out previously. My reply to DeadmanWalking was specific to Trump's campaign gear, which he said was made overseas.

I said nothing in my reply to him about his clothing line being manufactured overseas. You see, mvallas, there's a reason I quote people. Why don't you try reading the thread.

I hate to defend Trump at all but even politifact says his official Trump gear is made in America. Easy google search would've shown that earlier image was false.

Clearly his point was referring to having a political position that states X is wrong and continuing to practice X. Any other reading would appear to me an attempt to bait. And you wouldn't do that now would you?

Because its virtually impossible for Trump to win without it.

Clinton is imploding. Assange has more to release. 15,000 emails just found by the FBI. Polls showing him up nationally and in state races. No press conference in 260+ days. Health "conspiracy" now mainstream. GG.

I know I should't be doing this, but I just checked RCP and he is only leading in LA times and by one point. The state races seem bad to him.
