If everyone was fighting on the objective one ult such as Zarya's would be enough to kill the whole team

Snipers and turrets are always pointed on objective, meaning you're more likely to get killed there. People like action more than they like to win. Waiting to rez because you got sniped or hit by a waiting bastion is not fun.

Like capture the point maps when we are losing, while I am dead I enter spectating and as the timer counts down my team are literally right next to or outside the point and don't try and hold it...

You say that now, but next thing you know.... everyone is everywhere and not getting my heals! Then they die and the other team gets the objective.

If I'm a healer and I'm the only one at the point, I'll just leave it. Me being in the middle of a fight would be more beneficial than my entire team dying due to no heals. Or so I feel Originally Posted by PixelFox

People in this game would rather hide and let the guy next to them go in, even if it was a healer.

never fails to piss me off when I'm defending a payload map as a support and see 1-2 tanks run off chasing after the enemy...

Because the objective is full of enemies and you would die in less than a second if you even got near it.

Lost 3 games yesterday because 3 people wouldnt keep the objective contested. Standing right behind the line too..... so yeah. Move up a foot.... keep it contested, allows people to come back and help, thus keeping the game going, and allowing you to get more damage.

Yes, that is one of the more trying of things other players do.
The worst is still not swapping when your hero isn't working out.
