Here people were complaining about Orcs, when in fact Night Elves are written to be the master race.

My only problem with the NE, is that they are such a prominent race, with such powerful and interesting character (Some not as interesting as they used to be -sadly-) but they barely get much story (thanks Legion is helping a little bit with that)

Queen Azshara allied with both Sargeras and three of the Old Gods. I'd say that's a fairly major counterbalance.

This is the elf expansion. At least the 'orc expansion' have focus on draenei in more then one zone. The only alternative here is the one zone dedicated to tauren.

Its the Kal/shal'dorei Expansion and I love it. That will probably change a bit when we finish Suramar but the story is great so far.
I would not call them a master race that sounds like a race.. that wants to dominate other which is not the case with night elfs (any more).
Also their leaders don't appear very epic in legion at all.

You are leaving out Stormheim and the Norse influence in this expansion.
Maybe in Legion we will get an explanation on why 10000 year old Night elves follow humans.

This expansion really did make NE cool again. They were becoming pretty one-dimensional as of late with any variance in character coming from books. It's nice Blizzard can write them as more than just hippy elves. Originally Posted by Hellspawn
