But it turned out that this expansion is the one that sold most so far(and probably also the best thing ever).
Are you going to justify your toxicity in the forums?

actually, doomsayer says "The end is coming"
They already have 7.1 on the way, with a bunch of interesting content. Mythic+ and raids arent here yet either. While I don't know if it will make this expansion a lasting success, it is at least a step in the right direction.
On the other hand, they nerfed brulfist idol and kite, and I'm a bit worried that they will worry too much about stuff being too good and then nerf it to become useless. Fun detected, Fun nerfed, as they say.
Remember when people bragged about WoD having 10 million subs? Yeah... I'm really enjoying this expansion, but unless you can see the future, it'd be best not to put your foot in your mouth.
I do hope WoW keeps putting out content I enjoy, though. Here's hoping it can maintain it.
Not sure if you can expect an answer from a Hearthstone card, but I'd say its worth the wait.
and how would you know it ? so far they said it bumped more then from Wolk to cata - and there was 2 mln sub deviation there - if they got only 2-3 mln now and had 3 mln left after wod then its the worst launch in history - creative acounting makes wonders if you phrase stuff correckly - you need to read between lines
they didnt say we have more people now then in cata , they didnt say we have more people then in wrath - they dleiberately said that sub numebrs bumped higher then in cata - and wod had much higher bump then any other expansion so for them its fiasco if they didnt outdone wod with how much mroe content they put into game
They said that player activity at the same time, so people playing together, was at the highest point since cata launch. Don't underestimate how many people played cata launch, wotlk was the days where WoW had peaked at 12 million players there were alot of people at the start of cata.
Ofcourse cata sucked and people started to leave shortly after, myself included. But that's besides the point of Legion simply being a very succesful launch and where it'll go from here, only time will tell but it's undeniable looking to be a solid expansion with good patch content if they keep their word. And they do seem intent on keeping it, for the first time they actually accepted that yearly expansions dont work so they wont try to rush it anymore, which means more content for the current expansion.
If you expect Blizzard to release numbers that won't be beneficial to their PR, you're deluded.
That's why they stopped releasing sub count.
Equal numbers of copies sold on "day one" (with preorders) means nothing and was predictable if they already talked about it months ago.
There is nothing useful or productive about this thread. It just invites a lot of shit-slinging.
