"Unlucky Streak" account wide?

Legendaries are 895 ilvl ... Nighthold is 905. Unless they plan to buff them every patch we won't be using em all expac.

I only know about mage ones, but there are currently 2 that will not be replaced simply by ILVL. Bracers give 300% increased damage on a hardcasted Pyroblast and the ring that allows mages to get multiple Timewarp/Hero/Bloodlust etc. I'm sorry, but some raw stats will not outweigh multiple Hero uses. I highly doubt I'll remove that ring once I put it on.

So you plan to use one of the worst mage legendaries then? Sounds legit. The bracers are currently BiS yes, but saying that the dmg increase on a long hardcast will outweigh sheer ilvl increases is pretty far fetched. Come Mythic Nighthold you will be looking at 935 gear which is a pretty huge jump in raw stats. Considering we are talking about bracers and a ring it is possible that the int gain wouldn't be good enough to justify dropping them tho so only time will tell.

exactly but when they said there would be bad luck protection, and i have done the amount of content that i have, you would think Bad Luck Protection would be in effect.

meaning blizzard just said that there would be bad luck protection to keep people off their backs.

and didnt actually implement it.

So you know the actual, original droprate?
So can you tell us, with the amount of content you've done so far, what's the actual calculated probability chance for you?

And you know for certain that the probability hasn't been altered by the bad luck protection....how?

Also its your own issue if you get addicted and play 14 days straight, it doesnt even do anything for your char as the diminishing returns are heavy for both artifact power and ilvl if you are ahead of the curve.

Doing 1k dungeons did fuck all to your ilvl, you are almost the same as people that run 1 daily heroic and all weekly mythics. You are addicted, its not the games fault. You seek the thrill of that one titan forged 850 or the legendary drop, thats intended but you went to the extreme.

This is a glorious post. At the OP A) You didn't run anywhere near 1k dungeons. That's a complete fabrication. The game has been out for 14 days, thats 71+ dungeons per day. At 20 minutes per dungeon average, you would have had roughly 10 hours of sleep in that 2 week period. You would literally have to run a dungeon every minute of every day since release, and you'd have also had to level. B) You clearly exaggerate these nonsensical claims, so you have 0 credibility to whine about anything. You call it unlucky, I call it made up bullshit

I would expect back luck protection would be on a time-frame basis not amount of stuff run. I also would expect it to be more on the scale of months rather than weeks.

I'm sorry, but my eyes are reading me specifically mention the bracers first, with an explanation of what they do. I finished my thought about the ring, simply just to make a point. As far as "one of the worst legendaries", the ring is second only to the bracers. Please, if you're going to try calling me out, know what the fuck you're talking about and read my full thoughts. ive done almost 1k heroic dungeons, all mythic dungeons, all world quests, and all Emmisary quests since the game launched, and i have still not seen a legendary,

the monk alt in our guild who hit 110 2 days ago, and has only been online once or twice since the game launched, has gotten 2.

Blizzard lied out their arse about the bad luck protection.

So the blizzard statement that it can't be farmed is quite accurate. Nice.

RNG is one thing, but if your sample size really was let's say even in the 200+ range there's no way you'd be at the same level as me and not a hell of a lot closer to 850. I'm 843. I've done one complete set of Mythic dungeons and maybe all heroic dungeons once. Still, I've been lucky with a few 850 world quest procs for relics and armour pieces. 1k dungeons... what massive a waste of time.

Lets not forget he said ALL Mythics, which means he had to spend the time to farm Suramar/Nightfallen rep to open Arcway and Court of Stars. So he pretty much has been up with 4 friends since launch and has not slept for even a minute according to what his posts claim.

Until you know exact droprates and the exact workings of the bad luck protection you can't state for 100% that you are fucked over by RNG as it could well be that for example legendaries have a 0.1 or even 0.01 droprate and that the bad luck protection works on a daily or weekly basis and not on a activities done basis (which would very well be logical so that ppl don't go over their head and farm content where they have nothing else to gain from like a mad man). I wouldn't be surprised if that is actually the case, as i doubt blizzard intends for ppl to run anywhere near 1k heroics in 2 weeks just to get a legendary.
