Studs up is red. I'm not denying that.

But complaining about an offside goal while every Man U dive was free kick is just poor. Come on we have a budget of 37 million a year.Man U was poor we showed a true fighting spirit

united players couldnt score in a brothel tonight. Well except maybe Rooney, hes probably on VIP service in most private clubs around the world but holy shit, poor game.

United were shit, but a lot of decisions have been poor which doesn't help. United sub 3 attacking players so naturally the team is more spread out going for the win and they get an offside counter.

The win is deserved though to be fair.

    Don't know why you're surprised.
Jose explicitly said they don't want to be in this competition.

He wants to fight for the title and the domestic cups.
    Europa League = shit tier.

Less shots on target than Feyenoord. That should say enough.

If he loses to shit tier, imagine how he will do against the likes of Chelsea, City, Tottenham when Kane stops being a turd. Those domestic cups won't happen at this level of play.

Scholes: “With seven or eight changes, it was like a pre-season game and it turned out to be that way. I don’t know if Feyenoord deserved to win this game. United will still cruise through this group.”

He would have still wanted to win after the loss to city though. Not that gutted the league is more important this year but the team needs to start clicking soon cant afford losing points early like arsenal this year it will be too tight.

Problem with Jose is he says in the press, Manchester United don't want to be in this competition and then has to motivate them to play in it at team talks.
    Isn't that a bit counter-productive?

United do not want to be going to some Eastern European backwater in the middle of the season.

When Jose makes 8 changes when he's usually ruthless with lineups in the competitions he wants to win, it tells you everything you need to know.

His media tactics are normally always diversions. When he says he doesn't want to win the game or title (first year back at chelsea) it lowers expectations and takes the focus away from the players so they can feel confident and play how they want to play and puts the focus/blame on himself. Normally it works great and he can get the best out of confidence players like Ozil at Real Madrid and Hazard at chelsea till the collapse. But sometimes it can backfire obviously as well and there looked to be a lack of communication today between players. Like rashford playing lone striker telling his team to come up.

Pep is doing a similar tactic but more stealth with keeping expectations low for city. They will quietly hum along and be hard to beat this year.

Come on if anyone falls for those diversions they deserve sweaters with extra long sleeves.

Zlatan is loud and outspoken, doesn't make him a leader.

Football players on millions of pounds who care more about haircuts than their fans are fickle creatures. You need to take the pressure off them and let their talent shine however possible. Its part of what makes being a top manager so difficult among a lot of other things.

Not going to get into a Zlatan debate but despite what personal feelings you have for him. Theres not many 20 year old footballers who wouldn't want to impress him on the pitch

That's because he was (and still is in part) a great player. That has nothing to do with leadership
