Well theres a lot of issues when it comes to death knights in general, our talents are very jumbled, blood dks have superior pvp talents over frost dks. We lost our execute (frost dk again) We lost our purge (frost dk again) and we are under preforming (frost dks again). One thing we do need to consider is that any major changes to our class will not happen until the pve content is out for a few weeks, mainly to avoid a tsunami of people crying that they spent 2 weeks of artifact power on a spec that was changed overnight. Best thing we can do is leave constructive posts and try to get blizzards attention on the core issues and how we can fix the class without making it overly buffed "because reasons"

Changing specs between all three specs has never been easier. Now, I recognize that ideally any spec you want to play would be viable, but as Mufasax has point out, my DK is mostly doing blood and unholy, not frost. It might take a full patch cycle for frost to start performing better, but I am patient. Been playing 11 years.
And I loved blood tap
Myself, i am glad blood tap is gone. I absolutely hated the mechanic of it, how horribly clunky it was to use and especially how it was undeniably the single best talent in that row to take. I reached the point later on in WoD where i purposefully gimped myself just to avoid that crappy mechanic.
Shall. Not. Be. MISSED.
I too enjoyed blood tap, it had on command burst when we needed it, it allowed to cut out some of the rng aspects of our class and it was a great ceiling for death knights to show they have a proper understanding of their class. Unfortunately this isnt the case with this expansion, a lot of aspects that would reward going out of your way to have a stronger fundamental of your class is now replaced with the ability to pick up the class and understand it in a very short window of time, either by gutting out abilities or baking them into other abilities as sort of a "participation award" I.E. Marrowrend now giving bone shield for blood dks

I loved BT last expac. And I hated RC the worst out of the 3 in the old talent lineup. Wasn't exactly a harder style of gameplay; it's a button you hit when you are otherwise just sitting when you are recharging your runes.
I did miss it in prepatch, but now it's legion. I got over it. Gotta learn how to adapt, blood tap isn't coming back so why dwell on the past?
i liked it cuz it wasnt so random like RC and RE are

Blood tap was nice because it was off of the GCD so you could use it optimally right when you precisely needed it. No worries about random procs overcapping you.
I miss it the most for Blood. Not having a way to get Runes on demand sucks while tanking, even just get runes back period. Shit, I'd be willing to pay 2-5% of my HP per rune at times.

Blood tap was solid during world/cata until it was converted into a talent. Until then it became the go-to talent to reduce RNG.
Right now RC procs are hard to come around, though the double doom artifact trait will actually make things better by filling the empty gaps in the rotation. DC will be a reliable spell to count on for rotational reasons.
