We will not fight Sargeras this expac. (My opinion/wording from Q&A).

I'd guess we will overwhelm Sargeras in 7.3 (Odyn-like), but there will be a major "plot twist" with Elune/Azeroth in 7.2 Tomb of Sargeras and the new dungeon, which will overall allow us to reason with the Dark Titan. After all, if Elune can be born, or if saving the galaxy from a Void Titan is just a matter of killing N'Zoth, Sargeras might want to take our side.

If he is there, he has to fight us directly. Destroying the planet kills all of his command staff. There will be no one left capable of leading the legion. KJ is dead (or will be by the time we go to Argus).

He doesn't need to cleave it. Unless it just makes him feel better.


He can just as easily poke the ground we are at and it would just as easily do the job.

Again, a direct encounter is suicide when you are a flea in comparison to the Titan.
