RIGHT NOW still WOTLK. Legion has the potential to overtake it, depending on how good 7.2 and 7.3 (Argus) are. I'm thinking Legion will probably win in the end, but I'm reserving judgement until the content is actually released. They promised a lot of stuff for WOD too and we got nothing.

This games entire reward structure is Diablo. And it's starting to slowly eat away at people. give them another 1.5 years they will so disgusted with WoW it won't even be funny.

Vanilla tbc and wrath i put on the same boat, cuz really it was a different fking game back then. So those 3 are the best imo, and then legion has been the best one to follow, so basically, I would say Tbc - wotlk - legion - mop - cata - wod

I liked Cata up until Dragon Soul hit but even then Transmog added content that was missing with that deplorable patch.

Dragon soul still isn't as bad as Naxx being a copy and paste in the BEST EXPANSION EVERRRRRRRRRR

Game was exact same in Cata as it was in Wrath up till Dragon Soul LFR Extravaganza.

Really none of the Cata hate makes sense by people that put TBC on a pedestal <as it should be>.

Dragon Soul sucked. but thank god it was only 8 months not FOURTEEN like we have gotten the last 2 expansions.

ToC sucked fucking balls too and so did Copy and paste naxx LAUNCH content.

Game as it stands now. is diablo with a warcraft skin and story.

Wotlk and MoP. Too soon to say where Legion is, but right now many classes are boring, gutted and left for dead. Don't get me started on pvp. Tbh Legion is pretty fucking bad, but we just came from WoD so thats why people think its so great.
