7.1.5 release date?

There was only 1 early build so far, usually even the smaller patches PTR last around 2 months, so definately not in 2016. Will come out January, pretty much same time as Nighthold.

So I would imagine 7.1.5 isn't till after that.

the current policy is that the next patch should always be up on PTR, assuming they manage to align the production. unless there are MAJOR patch changes(due to complaints) until end of this week, I would say 20th. Otherwise 2017-

Season 1 will end Dec 13, and the transition into Season 2 will occur before 7.1.5 is released. So it looks like the 20th of Dec at the earliest.

In the latest Suramar quest line, we took Astravar harbor. You only get to NH when we completely captivity Suramar. It took us a lot of time to get to AH. So looks like it will take at least a month to capture rest of the suramar.

there are 3 chapters left in the suramar questline - so 3 more weeks til its over.

While they said approximately 10 weeks after a major patch in the interview today I can't see them releasing it the week of Xmas. There's too many people on holiday to risk having issues. It will come right after the new year.

If they release 7.1.5 at the same day as Nighthold comes out they are doing a huge mistake. Making so many different changes across the board and introducing that with a new raid is a disaster in the making, that would be a worse idea then the new legendary changes or whatever they're making.
Class changes should be a few weeks before Nighthold and I honestly think they will release it sooner.

Noone knows yet. From what im reading Blizzard are trying to push the patch before Nighthold. Possible release dates, 3,10 January. Its also possible to release 7.1.5 after Nighthold is released, thats why they said "Mythic difficulty will release during the weeks following, which we will share more specific details on at a later time."
