I have a career. Wife has one. She also runs a fashion blog of some repute that brings in some money, not much maybe 27-30k. Enough for her to buy designer purses/shoes/clothes to feature on her blog.

The anglo saxon christmas has so little to do with christianity that it's laughable. Heck you don't even have many christian elements in it anymore among the super religious crowd. You have a mythos baseed on a coca cola marketing mascot (santa) and a a bunch of pagan traditions (like the tree).

St. Patricks's day is an excuse to get hammered on a weekday and wear green.
Christmas is a day to feel good about giving socks to your distant relatives, and to buy shit because it's at a lower price.

As for tree, I want a 'fake' one, where I live usually don't get much snow during December, more in the new year's first months...which is a shame. So I don't want a real tree cuz they can have insects n shit (squirrel!). But I can't stand those cheap plastic trees...I want a really expensive one that is the right size, volume, has cones, lights n snow effects. I haven't managed to find one of those...and the pine-needles shouldn't look cheap or be soft plastic shit..

Something like

where's the cones..n a bit wider, I don't like a triangle shape that is like an arrow, make that fucker fat!

For years I haf collected christmas tree decorations, really cool ones too, you can never have too many...the more you have the more choices you haf each year how to decorate. I buy some each year to my mom too, for her tree since that's where we celebrate, but I want a nice tree at my home so it's all cozy n stuff when I get home from work during the holiday month..

I wish we had those huge christmas decoration stores like they have in the US..but then I'd overspend, feeling really satisfied n guilty at the same time..

What bothers me is that they don't make those pretty christmas cones decorations that they made in the 70s or 80s anymore, stuff like
