Tbh,I think that playerbase has changed their attitude towards some real major Warcraft characters - just look at the Grom - if he wouldn't be portrayed like a shitty strategist warchief in WoD,he would remain in player memories as an orc,who freed orcs from the blood curse and killed Mannoroth,thus sacrifising himself. Same goes to Malfurion - if before he was portrayed like one of the most powerful entities on Azeroth,in Legion he is a sissie,who is acting more reckless than Illidan and cant deal with a freaking SHADE of Xavius,whom he owned before.
