    2560x1080 WoW Graphic Card

    Hello!

I'm looking for advice from you smart guys . At the moment I'm looking for nice 2560x1080 monitor (21:9 34"), but I'm afraid my graphic card will burn at this resolution. Im trying to figure which one should I buy. Im thinking about GTX 1060 or RX 480.

    My spec is : i5 3570K/8gbRAM/GTX660

    Budget 250-400$.

Any proposition out there? 1060 GTX / 6GB seems fair for me, but I dont know if it's the best option at this budget range.

Thank you for your help! Have a nice day.

Assuming you are in the US for that price range you could probably squeeze in a GTX 1070. If you want to stay as low as you can price wise then definitely go with the 1060.

I would think a 6GB 1060 should be able to keep up with the CPU in WoW. During sales you can find them under your $250 budget lower range.

Depends on the games, if were talking WoW here the 3gb 1060 is more than enough for that res.

I get 55-95fps on ultra settings at 1440p with an EVGA 1070 ftw so with minimal setting changes I do feel a decent 1060 or 480 could do similar.

There is quite a number of 21:9 monitors that are freesync, way more then Gsync, and the Rx 480 is still a good card for WoW and lots of other games.

Interested in some Korean Monitors with FreeSync?
