I mean, he is a member of the media, or was. So it's not like he was some outsider fighting against the modern liberal media. It's not like this myth of a liberal news media holds much water when held up to reality anyway. I mean, Hollywood tends to skew liberal, sure. The biggest news network by far is Fox though. Rush Limbaugh rules the radio news circuit. The internet has plenty of both outlets.
But this is the kind of reductionist, dismissive non-argument that passes for political discourse these days. If it doesn't agree with you it is fake, etc. In any case, Trump didn't win because of any ideological shift, any rebelling against SJWs, or any such inane bullshit people post online. He won because he lied his ass off about caring about the working class and being able to protect their jobs at a time when much of the middle class felt abandoned by the government. He's only going to increase the tax burden on the middle class and empower corporate interests to abuse them more than they already do. Like the bullshit where people are blaming the $15 an hour minimum wage movement for companies like McDonald's trying out more automation as if that is something that could be developed in six months and not something that has already been in the works for years.
