I once loved to do that myself, but the absolute lack of care WoW has for RP makes it feel too much abstract for my tastes. I'm all for giving character, backstory and personality to a PC but it feels pointless when nothing of what you conceive have any interaction or repercussion on the game whatsoever.

I don't know; RP works well for us on RP servers. Sure, it could use A LOT of love, but we constantly find us able to come up with good, compelling and fun stories for our characters. Do you play on an RP server?

And sadly is the only "Hero" that matters in this game, on the end of the day, and the one we're actually voting for/against. And sure as hell I'm utterly against it.

Yeah, people who are voting for "themselves" are basically admitting that their character is the cardboard Blizzard is forcing on them, which is kind of funny. I refer to s/he as The Hero, but never myself.

It would be literally like referring to Uther as my paladin. :V

As a fan of both, Nazgrim isn't a lowly orc. You can keep claiming that to make yourself feel better as much as you like and it won't change actual the actual facts that he scored higher than Azshara in this game, in the other game, AND that people are usually providing good reasons for liking that particular character, sorry.
