Personally I'm having a blast! Killing mobs for the sake of it, what's not to like?

Not had this much fun since 6.1.

I love it personally. Nice to get back to Silithus and have a reason to go there, had great times back in vanilla pushing AQ content. It's gonna be a nice break from pushing Nighthold

Conceivably some of the formally unobtainable items that drop from the summoned bosses will be available again, if you want the transmogs.

and thats where your opinion come in, lots of people are very excited by the stuff and love the idea

Lost interest when I found out it was regionally based. Might as well hand the Horde every regions victory totem now and save a week of everyone's time.

Not to mention I found it painfully ironic that the commemoration of an event such as the AQ Gates, which was the most intensive server community moment ever, ended up yielding a regional event instead of a server event. So much for server community.

Nope, no reason other then having silly flags of your faction there. Completely useless and unmandatory achivement or collection wise. It's for people who are really bored and can't go play other games than WoW when they're bored.

Horde has about a 30% lead on US servers. And yeah, microholidays don't have much in the way of lasting rewards afaik

It's really boring tbh. There's already farm groups with people farming the templar spawns for those items that you use to buy the medallion to spawn the twilight acolyte boss or whatever its name is. Really boring and not something I'd want to waste my time on without any rewards.

They should put up a scoreboard/hiscores that shows highest participating players per faction or something to make it feel less like you've wasted a bunch of time for nothing in case your faction loses.
