Unleash the beast relic with 4 pc set

How does unleash the beast(+6% while in bw) fair against jaws of thunder or pack leader with 4 piece set? i currently use an 870 pack leader relic but i got an 890 unleash the beast relic today , i think the 870 is better but im not sure if that changes after 4 piece set.

I think his misconception is the +ilvl refers to what the weapon gets from a relic not the ilvl of the relic itself. So an 890 is +55 ilvl to your weapon and an 870 is +49 which is only a diff of 6 ilvl so the 870 pack leader is better than the 890 beast.

But if Manatoxin Gland warforge on same Ilvl as Farsight Spiritjewel. Gland is ofc better

Actually he is right, the 890 is better in this case. While pack/jaws is better than JUST a flat +8 ilvls that doesnt take into account the difference in traits. The difference between the two traits is not enough to to beat out the increased 6 weapon ilvls. That's only taking into consideration single target, multi target it's even better

You guy forget beast also worth +4ilevel.
So pack=+8 vs beast =+4 is only 4 ilevel difference.

Plus, I believe the value of beast go up with higher BW uptime. And value of pack go down with more pack you got.

BW was 45% before 4set, now if you can get 90% with shoulder then beast relic should worth double.

I think the best way to find out is use ask mr robot website to change your relic then simc it with their own simc.

KC relics are only single target also, just another thing to consider.

I replaced an 885 manatoxin gland(pack leader) with an 890 Farsight Spiritjewel(unleash beast) because its 2% total dmg increase while in BW and with 4pc+ shoulder my BW uptimes are 85%+.

KC relics are great for pure ST but they offer absolutely zero if you need to cleave/aoe, so i'll keep the other two KC relics I have because they are 895's but the 890 spiritjewel is an upgrade because the additional ilvl on weapon means more dmg on autos/cobra/multishot, additional passive stats on the weapon itself and 2% to all dmg(including KC) is worth it considering the BW uptime and the amount of cleave/aoe in NH.
