    What is magic was real?

    Would you attempt to master it? Would you be a layman and continue life as normal? Would you try to advance technology annyway?

    There's many different groups of people (usually some sort of occult practitioners) who believe mathematics and numbers to be actual magic. Aleister Crowley was one such person as an example.

    Maybe it is, and like in the 1998 TV movie, Merlin with Sam Neill, we think it's fake because we've simply forgotten it's there. Or we just haven't advanced enough for Techno makes to do their thing yet.
