This thread was locked at 26 pages with 190 upvotes, and we can't vote in locked threads.. I noticed it was downvoted to -10, then -20, and then back to 0.

Blizzard deleted the "part 3" threads, then downvoted part 2, and the first one by over 200 downvotes to try silence any new feedback on it and make GD act negatively whenever we'd reference an earlier thread on the subject. Shady stuff, isn't it?

I mean I doubt they have the ability to implement this currently in game or else they would have done so by now. They probably don't really care enough to make this a feature. It's a low priority for them for sure.

Because one of the reasons is that it's way easier to make gear. The other is for animations and it looked completely retarded on the old meshes.

I cant believe facebook/twitter integration, selfi camera, wow token to bn balance and pet battle dungeon etc don't waste more resources than bringing back old models.

This needs more attention. Been qqing about this since Alpha.

Pruning got an insane amount of attention asking Blizzard to change it back and they didn't do anything. Pretty sure Cdew made a post on the forums that got over 1000 upvotes.

Point is, Blizzard has seen that people are upset about it but have no intention of changing it. It's time to stop.

i would have no problem at all with that, when i could have at least the old run animations back. for me, and a lot of ppl i know, that silly stupid (and motion sickness creating) new run animations destroyed 80% of the classes for us. mostly on male ones, since female are not that heavy bad. that just sucks incredibly.

Those were one time expenditures.

If they bring back the old models, it effectively doubles the creation time for armor, as it has to be designed for both the old and new models.

New models weren't just new skins, it was an overhaul to how the skeletons work that lets us have things like 3D armor and quivers.
