have any of you ever had a dream?

where something occurs in that dream that makes you deliriously happy and it makes the dream seem almost real? sort of like lucid dreaming but like you got an overdose of dopamine. i had one such dream the other night where i got married to a certain fictional person and spent the entire dream blissfully happy like nothing could ruin this happiness. have any of you ever had a such a dream?

Usually when it gets that good I question too much and it unravels and I wake up.

I've experienced lucid dreaming, but not in the sense of being married to a fictional character... Mine are generally more abstract than that. Granted, I have had dreams about relationships and sex with realistic characters that were made up in my head, generally from a time long ago, as if it where another life. That's about the closest I can think of in that regard, it wasn't lucid dreaming, however. Nor entirely fictional, as it appeared to be quite realistic.

Certainly, usually about people that aren't in my life anymore. I usually wake up feeling pretty "meh" about the whole thing, especially if I've gone a while without really thinking about it. This goes for ex's, lost family members, old friends, etc.

I've had multiple dreams of this blonde girl or girls...taking place in different ages of my life...I was happy...like this person or person were my soul mate...I had one dream where I was having a terrible day and I lay my head in her lap and she soothes my by singing to me.

I haven't had one in a long time...but I would have one every now and then...they would haunt me.....but thankfully I haven't had one in forever.

Yeah. Good or bad, sometime I have dreams that leaves me stunned in the morning. They just feel so tangible, it's enough to create a genuine emotional response on my end. It's amazing for good dreams, it's crap for bad dreams.

This week I dreamt that I wanted to come out to my childhood best friend on whom I had the biggest crush in my life. I haven't talked to him in years -- that didn't prevent me to feel like crap the day after.

Nope. I'm always trying to find this girl, and at this point I've seen enough to know that it's a somewhat coherent story that I keep seeing different parts of, but I can never see her face, or figure out just why I'm trying to reach her, just that it's important. and at every point where I would see her, I wake up. Or the last one, where I can't save her. No matter what I do, whenever I have that dream, if I just run past every enemy, or kill them all, or sneak past, I can never reach her before she dies. there's one past that, but I can only remember it coming once, and it was melancholy. Everyone's celebrating, and singing my praises, but I still focus on the fact that I couldn't save her, it feels... Wrong like there's something I should have done, but I can't figure it out.

My dreams are almost always awful, and at best incredibly bizarre. Most mornings I'm just thankful not to wake up in a panic, as remembering what I was dreaming about is a rarity to begin with.

Happened often enough, it's pretty sad to wake up sometimes when dreams are so interesting.

Dreaming about having a psychedelic trip is weird.

Dreams that makes me happy? Yeah, but it happens maybe once in a year now. Were happening more often when I was teenager(11-19) and I don't mean porn dreams.

Everyone have dreams, usually 4-5 dreams during one sleep time. Tell yourself few times before falling asleep that you want to remember the dream, and you will remember it It is really that simple

The fact that this wasn't posted yet makes me insanely disappointed in all of you.

OT: No. I never have lucid dreams. Makes me jealous.

One of my most memorable ones like that were where I married an ex of mine in an amazing place and my whole family was there.

Another weird one was where I went to this alternate dimension where I was never born and my parents had never married. I got to talk to my mum and her joy and reaction to finding out about her alternate life was so realistic and heart-warming.
