Now I mostly eat cheese slices. Sometimes on pepper flavored crackers if I'm in the mood.

I like snacks too much if I can be frank with you. I am slightly overweight because I can't resist those tasty nachos with dip

the only chips i don't eat is uncle ray's spicy hot chips because they give me bowel issues when they come out. and it's not because i can't handle spicy food either but i dunno what's in those chips but it doesn't agree with my bowels. they're the only hot chips i don't eat.

Chips are so addictive too. You can't just eat a handful (roughly a serving),you end up wanting to eat the entire bag and you're like "no..no...!!" internally. Anything with chocolate or peanut butter in it is murder for me too. Reese's pieces are THE worst, put a bag in my vicinity and I'll want to gobble them like they're laced with opiates or something.

That's why I like frozen strawberries because if I want to snack its because I want something to nibble on and its cold too. I like animal crackers because they are vaguely sweet, have a texture I like and I don't have to hate myself for eating something non-nutritious since it doesn't activate the whole "gotta gobble it all up" mode.

I used to take 4 slices of cheese (140 cals) and 4 crackers (60 cals) for a portion but lately I've just been eating the cheese. Seems easier.

The cookies are...well there's an Entenmann's outlet near me so it isn't unusual to pick something up. It's $2.35 per item or three for $6. I REALLY try to limit myself though, I refuse to eat more than 300 sugar calories a day, and I don't like to have it too often. Just once in a while.

psh nothing beats home made good old fashioned chewy tough cured beef jerky. like they used to make. not that mechanical processed garbage.
