Meh he was just a dude. He couldn't have known what his ideas would lead to.

However those ideas did lead to others creating one of the most disgusting philosophy's of all time. I don't blame Marx for that though, like I said I doubt he realised the damage it would cause.

Except the US proletariat uprising is focused on destroying the proletariat and handing the means of production over to the bankers and state-sponsored churches. Once the proletariat are out of the way, it will be a bourgeoisie paradise for everyone else.

People pin Communism on his back because he was explaining the class combat witin capitalism and socialism system to appease them.
Here's how i know you didn't actually read Marx as much as you claimed.

Why should anyone hate Karl Marx?

    He was a great philosopher.

Liberals(classic, not centre/social ones) and the right wingers on this forum seem to disagree, I think they just don't like anybody who is on the economic left.

Marx was an early founder of a soft science that isn't that different from other soft sciences like sociology. Math never changes or rarely changes but soft science changes all the time, it's why Marx has little to do with today's economics just like Freud has little to do with today's psychology.

Karl Marx undoubtly changed the minds of the rich to share more money with their employees.

As they would burn his house otherwise.

The social market economy we have in germany exists thanks to social democracy. And social democracy was born mainly from Marx ideas and theories.

Marx utopian philosophy is beyond flawed. Humans won't change their selfish behavior in order for a community to succeed. Someone would always feel unequal or unmotivated. For example, why does Bob get to count beans while I have to dig holes.

Marx kinda reminds me of Sargeras, he wants to destroy certain unfair aspects of life in order to end human exploitation.

I do love his spirit and passion and admire his balls, he is a figure that inspired and forged me to what i am today, he contributed to developing my social consciousness and there’s no way i can blame him for the bullshit from a bunch of paladins.

But i choose to see communism as yet another stage of capitalism, the act of taking a risk to invest in something, from social providences to people, from ideas to products. Because letting myself be oppressed with the idea that capitalism is always about exploitation of the weak is yet another tyranny of the mind, and Marx was all about liberating the oppressed.

Well maybe half of them. It's funny how people adopt ideas that are against their best interest.

His later work is actually mostly about capitalism, most of it it still applicable now.

Karl Marx toward the end of his life was against forms of violent revolution against capitalism. So linking him to the USSR is just ass?

PS for this forum. Karl Marx actually envisioned Globalism as the largest form of capitalism (which it is) so its kinda ironic to see donald trump followers in agreement with Marx.
Nobody hates Marx. Many people hate Marxists, because they adopt a flawed set of theories too readily (and evolved it into communism).

Marx is right on paper, but his post-revolution thoughts doesn't factor in human greed/flaws. I think most communist dictators started out as idealists, but once they got the taste for power their baser instincts kicked in.

From my POV, the communist dictators never were communist, just those abusing the idea.

You need to narrow it down, Marx had more than one idea.

Never seen in my life someone who hates Karl Marx, including die-hard anti-commies.
