You can just add vanilla to Coke, though it's obviously trial and error to get a good taste out of it. I used to do that with root beer and Vernors, at the time I was drinking lots of pop I worked for Pepsi so I could get Vanilla Pepsi so cheap that it wasn't necessary to add it to regular.
