Exactly. Last time I had it disabled on this site it took forever to load the page and scrolling anywhere was really choppy. Sorry mmo-champion, but if ads are effecting performance you can fuck off.

There are plenty of other suckers who run their browsers without an AdBlock. Until ADs become non-intrusive (plays sounds, noticeably slows performance, etc) I'm not disabling AdBlock.

This site is what made me get adblocker, occasionally i turn it off to see if things have gotten better, nope, back on it goes.

The banner says that you're striving not to interrupt my experience with ads but you're literally taking up a third of my screen with that annoying bar at the bottom reminding me that I use adblock every page I go on. I think that's equally as intrusive.

Yep, no ads for me either. The worst are the auto playing audio ads and the background image ads that turn the entire non-content area into clickable links for the ad.

Indeed. Doesn't actually make me feel like the Ad situation has improved.

Though, if you think about it. If they reduced the number of ads playing on their pages, that might encourage more people to turn off their Ad Blockers. Effectively, that would increase the ad traffic, increasing their revenue.

People with ad blocker on, while running a high amount of ads - No ad revenue

uBlock fixed that bar and turn off non-intrusive advertising for MMO-C.

This so much this and now MMO-C spamming themself to turn it off, even though i said "Close" a 100 times now.
This is beyond friendly to the customer (aka the site visitors)
