Warglaives of Azzinoth achievement required

No I mean the part where people don't understand why I didn't farm them before but I'm complaining about it now. Do people really not understand that it's because I had no reason to as they were un-transmoggable and basically there was nothing you could do with them?

You got a FoS for getting them, that's something. Maybe collecting legendaries and feats of strengths isn't your thing, but for a lot of people it is. So yeah, there was a reason to get them before, it just didn't apply to you specifically.

Edit: if you have a rogue you can skip half the raid with a single shadowstep, but I don't think we're allowed to go into detail about exploits so for anyone who want to pick up the weekly farm go google.

It's an artifact skin that is based on thunderfury and considering that you probably won't be able to keep your artifact weapon after Legion it's something different. Get your facts right.

But.. we already know that people who unlocked their appearances in Legion, including hidden ones like TF, will keep them post-Legion for transmog. So, it seems like you're the one who needs to get his facts right.

Besides, it doesn't matter if you have them on your DH or any other character. It just matters that your account has them.

Why would a mage farm both warglaives?

To obtain the achievement required to get this mog set, you must obtain a set of the original Warglaives on a toon that can equip them. Having both Warglaives on a Mage will, sadly, not help you.

Have they not stated several times that they still are not sure how they're going to handle Artifacts and Artifact appearances post-Legion? Or has there been a more recent thread clarifying this?

Because, and this is like the tenth time it's been said in the thread, some people care about having an item they can actually mog and use as a primary weapon in real content but don't care about obtaining a weapon that's going to sit in their bank and they can never "use" outside of AFKing in town with it equipped. It didn't feel worthwhile to get before now (for some people).

I mean if the TW-BT raid is up weekly then it isn't a big deal. Go clear normal BT and then do TW-BT. But if its once a month or whatever then ya this is a shitty thing to do.

Then it is now, and they can get to farming. It's not like the BT event happens tomorrow morning or is a one-time deal, Blizzard has forewarned us. It's what I did, I had only the offhand for the longest time, now I'll clear BT on my main hoping to get the main hand. Not like I'll use the appearance since I think it's too big.

You need the achievement from equipping both of them. If you played nothing but a mage until Legion then this fuck's you over since you have only had a few months to grind BT on ur DH.

This mog should NOT be tired to old world content that is super heavy RNG based. It is literally the Corrupt Ashbringer level of RNG being applied to DH's now. Such RNG was shit for Paladin's and is also shit for DH's.

And those people have all the time in the world to go farm the glaives weekly, so there's nothing to complain about. The people who already sit on the weapons will be able to mog them first, but the others will in time too. Just like every other item in the game when transmog was first introduced.

So no achievement, and no transmog for me. Thanks blizzard but I wont farm them again.

Has nothing to do with putting in effort to get them. There is this magical thing called RNG and the warglaves having a stupid low drop chance. Also people didn't know that many years later current expansion content would be tired to a early expansion's RNG.....

How? Start farming, get the achievement, then just wait for the next timewalking raid. Voila. Easy.

TBH it's not even a very nice weapon model by today's standards. I'd say all of the new glaive models look quite a bit better.

If you don't already have them, then you didn't want them bad enough to farm them. Now all of a sudden you can use them as a transmog for a new class and you want them? Then start farming like everyone else.
