Bitdefender.
I like it, it does not bother me with shit and runs silent.
windows defender. because it was preinstalled. Dont see any reason to install anything else. Around 4 years only defender. Before that ~8 years havent anything. And dont remember any problem.
When you do not download any shit from pornsites and other "non trustful sources" its hard to catch anything. Its like an old joke.
- Doctor! What I have to do to prevent pregnancy happen?
- Drink a mineral water
- Before or after?
- Instead of.
Today doctor would just recommend abortion.
on topic: Windows defender is fine, until someone will target you trough internet, then even best firewalls can not be best defensive. Even if you are careful, if your IP is static you have a huge chance to give your computer to someone else (zombie network), and what is even more scary about it - most users do not even know or are suspicious that it can be a case (if you don't believe me just install any free firewall for hour and tell me how many it blocked).
Windows defender windows 10 , before windows defender i used AVG but the windows antivirus is perfect
Common sense.
1) Load the amount of weight I would deadlift onto the bench
2) Unrack
3) Crank out 15 reps
4) Be ashamed of constantly skipping leg day
Norton before learning about NOD 32 during the XP era.
Microsoft Security Essentials in Windows 7, and it's renamed version (Windows Defender) in Windows 10.
There's no reason to use a 3rd party version post XP/vista era.

Avira, because he's light, perfect for bench without being unprotected.
Yeah honestly I'd just recommend using windows defender maybe malwarebytes and some common sense.
Webroot SecureAnywhere & the occasional scan with malwarebytes

An AV is not needed if you are careful. However when you have a brother who uses the PC.....Its needed so Avast is my saviour
I use Linux like 30% of the time now. 70% of the time, when I'm on W10, I just try not to download and install shady things and hope for the best.
