Hi! You've probably all seen this poll on the frontpage, "How much would you pay for MMOC Premium (No Ads, Cosmetic Perks on the Forum)"
Since we can not see the current results (which is funny), I wonder what did you vote?
And before you asked, i voted "I wouldn't".
The reason for this is because, well, these here forums have topics like the ones from Jaylock (thank the light he's banned atm), and I dont feel like paying for something that allows people like him to keep posting troll threads over and over and over again. They might seem more or less "serious" but they are pure trolling, clickbait.

I may consider it if we can have like a combo-pack with Twitch Turbo and Curse Premium, since Curse has been bought by Twitch n all.

Out of curiosity, did you fix the Wowhead problem? Aka ads are still showing even though i got adblock?

Maybe if they remove the 10 char limit so I can finally just say "No" to people posting bullshit.

I wouldn't even consider paying for something like this. People visit these places because they are free, if it introduces a fee then most people will gravitate elsewhere.

That doesn't solve the problem MMO-Champion has. They do need $$$ to maintain the site.

If it costs, I'll leave... sadly the info here aint so valuable as they think, at least not for me! I can live without seeing the latest hotfix (which is available on Battle.net) or what new micro holiday is upcoming (which also is available else wheres) ... and the forum is not optimal for good info about your class anyway (discord and other channels are way better).. so I dunno what I'd miss... the troll-posts? the whiners that claim the sky is falling every patch? the info about what computer I should buy once a week? .. Naah,, tbh.. i'll survive! :P

That said, I love the site for it's summary of stuff but it's probably more of a habit I visit nowadays than actual point of coming here!

Reason i go here, is mostly to avoid all the WoWhead adds (and their damn excessive pushing of blizz merch), it's one of the few remaining sites that doesnt plaster scrap-adds all over a right-side panel.

It was an optional extra to not have ads but still support the site.

I will happily support MMO but I want nothing to do with their despicable ad-serving history.

I'd be much more willing to pay $5 per year than to suffer ads. I browse MMOC quite a bit, and I do think the site owner deserves something for it, but that doesn't mean I'm willing to be infected by all the crap that is hidden in ads these days. Don't care about forum cosmetics as I don't post very often. And I don't think it's worth more than $5.

Out of curiosity, did you fix the Wowhead problem? Aka ads are still showing even though i got adblock?

Gotta be honest here, i quit using WoWhead ages ago.
Only reason im still there, is for quick quest info or mount drops etc.

Just checked again and wow, i thought MMO-C was bad.
WoWhead basically is pushing adds to the limits.

Either you put adds on the website and make your money with that.
Or they put a donate button and just ask people to be kind and donate for them.

You can't have both things.

But it's looking like they gonna keep all their adds and just add a "Well give us your money and its gone" trick. Which is kinda sad :/

They will have to start removing people permanently befor I pay for it. Half the forum is filled with troll posts from the same posters.
