I remember some emails being present for the Hillary thing. I can't seem to find the emails that show that Trump did the same, please link them to me.

Also, by the logic used for Hillary, even if this was true, there was no criminal intent from Trump so it's fine, no charges.

There is absolutely nothing piling up supporting this "story" lol.

McMaster is a thousand times more trustworthy and credible than the fake news site Washington Post, so I'd believe him over a "news site" that has been pumping out disastrous fake news all week.

One person confirmed to have done things that are stated in black and white to be punishable by up to a year in jail or some sort of fine while not being the highest authority in the western world.

This is alleged, from anon sources, to may have occurred...

To keep things straightened out, cause it seems some people are quick to assume a fire cause they heard a click and know a lighter is nearby.

Trump said he talked about terrorism and threats to aviation. McMaster said he talked about common threats (terrorism) and threats to aviation. There was no confirmation of anything. Trump didn't say, "I gave away vital intelligence," he quite literally just said he talked about what was scheduled to be talked about (and reported on prior in the news). Reading, huh? Those words.

I think McMaster, like Mattis is in a difficult position. If we rewind the tape 18 months ago, the Military started a plan discretely (that eventually spread to the rest of government) that could be called "the Trump Contingency", which was built around how to protect American instutions, namely the military in the original case, from Trump. We've seen repeated executions of the Trump Contingency - namely the public firings (do not resign was one of the core parts of Plan Trump).

I think a key reason why Mattis and McMaster took their respective jobs is consistent with the Trump Contingency. Mattis protects our military's 150 year record of political neutrality, professionalism and integrity (which historically speaking, is an aberration in the history of the world, even today). McMaster protects overall national security from going down weird paths. And with Flynn and his crazies out of the way, Trump's National Security team is actually very good.

But McMaster is playing a game that can't be played forever. He can't serve two masters. He can't defend the President in the way THIS President demands (absolute loyalty) while defending the country's national security priorities and norms.

His statement yesterday was trying to do both. Trump detonated one bridge and made McMaster look like a liar. McMaster's time for choosing will come soon. Hopefully today. If Trump's national security team collapses, he'll lose a major pillar of how Republicans go about rationalizing their support.

Bingo. It turned out to be absolutely true and the illegitimate President confirmed it.

The difference is that Clinton did in fact have top secret emails on her personal servers. That is the definition of gross negligence. She got off because Comey split hairs on the nonexistent difference between "extremely careless" and "gross negligence". There was never, ever, any question as to whether she transferred these confidential documents to her personal server. There is also no question that she lied to the American public about it.

Trump allegedly discussed intelligence sources with Russia, which as President, he has the right to do at anytime (as stupid as it may be to do so).

So yes there is a great difference between the facts of Hillary's gross negligence as Secretary of State and allegations from unnamed sources.

Let's try to expand your narrow mind, shall we.

Here is a possible fact shared with Russia: We know from our intelligence assets that ISIS is planning X.
See how easy it is to share facts without giving away the actual intelligence source?

    Is the painting still beautiful?

The liberals on mmo-champ are going off the rails again over mere allegations by unnamed sources.

Or, it provides them leverage and information they previously did not have when it comes to intelligence gathering. Which, is indeed, horrible.

Critical thought is hard, but it doesn't hurt...much.

Yeah, I just read this online. What an idiot. I was willing to write the whole thing off after McMasters comments, but Trump, like normal, just had to say something like a 13 year old child in a verbal fight with his sister.

I mean, out of all the people Trump could have shared this intelligence with...Russia? Really? You didn't have enough problems with your questionable relationship with Russia already?

I'm assuming this is how it went down:

Putin: Hey Trumpy. You know those pissing tapes I've got? I've got a favor to ask. Need some intel

    Trump: Say no more fam

The same info that the partners they got it from gave it in confidence
The same info that the US did not give to its European allies.

    (1) It wasn't our intelligence to share. It was an ally's. It's their man / men on the ground. They shared it with us. Trump shared it with the Russians when we didn't get approval to share it with them. In fact, we hadn't shared it with our closest allies.

The United States was taken into an ally's confidence and Trump betrayed that confidence. Why should they share with us ever again? Why should any ally? This is exactly the same in that regard as Obama's red line: after that episode, why should any country take our "word" seriously?

It would be somewhat different if this was American-sourced intelligence, but it was not. It was shared with us and we did not have permission to share it.

And conversely imagine if the US had a man in harms way and shared intel with the Turks, and then the Turks turned around and told the Russians. Why would we ever tell Turkey anything ever again? It's the "Intelligence Golden Rule" as some have put it.

    (2) Analysis and imagery of Russia's actions in Syria have shown they've done basically nothing to fight ISIS and the US Military and IC do not consider them as partners in fighting ISIS. They've gone after rebel opponents of Assad's regime they propagandize and call ISIS, but rarely ISIS.

Soo here is a thing. I will not defend his stupidity for sharing Super Secret information( most of our OWN Intelligence agencies did not have this information), but.... If the WH staffer kept their mouth shut, NO ONE not even ISIS (who now knows who the spy in their midst is) would know he said anything.

But now with it being TOP NEWS all over the world.... the entire media and social media agencies just gave away that information TO ISIS.

While this was a COMPLETE bonehead dumbass...( I cant think of something that serves here) move by the Idiot Cheeto head, 'if' it stayed in the Oval Office and not leaked that it was leaked to the Russians, ISIS would not know who their spy is and now deal with them. We are so quick to show the stupidity of this man that the media and the idiot who leaked to the media what was discussed is know 'known' to ISIS.

Again.. I WILL NOT defend this man but should we also not be looking at the one who leaked the leak as well as the dumbass who is colluding with the Russians? I mean look at it from another angle, IF it was not leaked that the dumbass leaked it to Russians, IF the Russians got this information to ISIS it would be concrete evidence that the Russians are colluding with ISIS. That would effectively turn the Global community against Russia.

America is in a sad sad sad state. The goal of terrorism is to destabilize and sow fear in a country or people. America has become a joke to the world. Civilized and Advanced countries are bowing their heads in shame as the Greatest Power in the world has whittled away into this sad state we are in now.
We have a LONG LONG LONG nother 3 years of this Idiot in office, I pray we can make it through with a microgram of respect from the rest of the world.

He certainly made statements that were meant to mislead and get people to believe things that were not true. By doing that he's begun the process of selling out his soul to Trump.

Weeks and months of that? We would consider him no different than Sean Spicer.
