Do we want to talk about how single mothers are afforded opportunity to make upwards of 35k + from entitlements granted she makes less than ~25k a year?

Do we want to talk about how we spent in FY2015 over 2Tr on entitlement spending whether it's medicaid/other healthcare/etc.

I think the US is the only country where our poor people have iPhone 7s and 50" LED tvs, my friends in section 8 (subsidized govt housing) drive nicer cars than me, go on WAY more vacations, and have all the latest tech, while i pay out of pocket for everything, while they pay 25% the rent i do.

One of my friends, who has a $2500 laptop, a new i7+ went on 4 out of country vacations this year, while my gf and i went on a cheap cruise 2 years ago. Yet, I have a great job in finance, and my GF is an audiologist, but it sure sucks paying over 2k a month for an apartment (which is a good deal in MA).

I think one of the reasons ppl go to the US, is because its still being minted as the land of opportunity, or "the promised land" as some call it.

We call it "Det forjættede land" which doesnt really translate that well, but it can be read as positive, or negative depending on the person ;-)

They are all about redistribution of wealth, more government control and less personal freedoms. I couldn't care less if one is 50% manure while the other is 100%, I still wouldn't want to jump into it.
