I am so disgusted by their raid setup.
Mainly bcos it shows the limitations that Blizzard have been battling with for so long now, and the same classes will come out on top.
GG method their dedication is scary. One interesting note - when blizz announced 20 man mythic I'm sure they said their intention was that they wanted groups to have to bring a big variety of specs to defeat the bosses, we can see that design strategy has failed miserably.
I wonder how Exorsus feels about this right now. Are they going to push for world 2nd or fall back into normal raiding hours till next tier?
Nvm, just found a post saying they already reduced their raiding hours. A shame, considering they are the only guild who can compete with method.

not really, you can't 'tune' bosses so that they are in line with 'bleeding edge' you can't tune bosses to account for 'class stacking' or multiple split raids and the rate they amass gear. you'd have to look at it when the broad spectrum of guilds get there and the flexibility allowed in terms of 'classes' then.
the 'gaps' aren't gigantic in favor of one class or another it's just that one-two classes each tier is faster at closing the gap, and when you have possibility to bring 'as much of any class' as you wan't ofc you are going to do just that.
but 20man was meant to prevent class stacking
July 16 2015 Archimonde.
July 16 2017 Kiljaeden.
that's only this tier though, and yeah i would agree on that they got far hung up on that 'tool' this tier, guess work would suggest it's cuz they had to rush out a few of the fights. like 'desolate host' you can tell was meant to be something different but they just ran out of time and put in what they had there and in working fashion
Seems like immunities are too strong this tier in general.
Alt raids and splits started mostly in ICC, probably due to limited attempts cancer that was introduced during this time. Wasn't really a thing before that. Daytime raiding for multiple weeks also started later even among world first competitors.
But anyway congratulations to Method. Some may say they've outlived their competition and there is truth in it — of all the guilds that were relevant by the end of WotLK only Method and Exorsus exist today. But they were always contenders if not for the world first then for the 2nd or 3rd place at least.
I know for a fact SK and several others were putting in the hours required for every gate in Sunwell, and went nonstop as soon as M'uru & Kil'Jaeden was made avaliable. And Ensidia did the same starting WoTLK. So 'daytime' was a thing already at the end of Burning Crusade, it started 'Light' in Vanilla when guilds started pushing 7 days (instead of the standard 5 x 4 hours model that carried as template from EverQuest) then Nihilum started pushing the envelope a bit towards the later parts of Naxx40 and then it kept ramping up until SK started doing 10-12 hour raids in Sunwell.
thanks method, cant wait for blizz to nerf every single rogue ability, again <3
