I'd personally love if it turned out to be Maiev, but I'm not sure she qualifies as being more famous than Stukov...I always felt like I was one of the few people who actually liked her.

Also, for some reason when I first saw the teaser gif, I immediately thought of Khadgar...and he's pretty famous...right?

Dark Portal, but what is behind? This is Dark Portal from Outland side.

Kil'Jaeden? Mannoroth? Or maybe Maiev? Some noticed leafs or something like that.

The thing that throws me off the most is the green eyes, orcs get red eyes when they are fel corrupted, no orc really has green eyes, not even gul'dan. Akama has blue eyes. The only one I can think of is Maiev since she gets green eyes with her helmet, but the figure is coming from the outlands side. It could just be they aren't trying too hard with the eye color but it's really the only important clue other than someone who is attached to the dark portal which could be a ton of characters.

My bet is Grom or Garrosh, but if Grom, there is an small issue.

Grom yeah got technically Green Eyes, but only in fel orc form, and he got ponytail if we can count ponytails to hair actually.



As well he got ponytail in WoD.



But knowing after D'Va release everything is possible like happend Malthael and Stukov. Maybe it is somehow retushed Dark Portal to hide pretty well Grom behind portal. Grom is one of highly demanded heroes though, as long with Garrosh.

Well... considering he was actually there it could always be Medivh as the orcs saw him from their side when he was opening the portal.

As we know blizzard the whole thing could always also be a troll... and the 1st thing we see when it unravels is someone else coming from behind and chopping of this dark figure's head, turning out to be the actual new hero... :P

no i mean those red things people keep calling eyes
those are on the normal portal
the only thing different is the silhouette with green eyes, yet people are trying to say "its a misdirection, the red things are eyes" no... they are just part of the portal

Last 10 heroes were 6 Assassins, 2 Supports, 1 Warrior and 1 Specialist - Last 4 Warcraft heroes were 4 Assassins a 1 Warrior with Valeera being last Warcraft hero. According to that I don't think it's gonna be Maiev because she'd probably be another rogue-like assassin.
I'm going with specialist or warrior here.
Warriors - Some orc - Grommash, Garrosh, Blackhand or someone who went through portal. Archimonde? Could Akama be listed as Warrior?
Specialist - Nerzhul, Kilrogg ?

But Blizzard are master trolls and in the end we might end up with freakin Gruul

Why do people always connect Wardens with Rogues? Pretty much every Warden we seen was sealed inside massive plate armor and serving as either police force, prison security or bodyguard. Sneaky doesn't always mean deceitful or sinister.

I can easily see Maiev as first Warrior with stealth mechanic, focused on CC and utility. For example she could have ability that reveals a Hero for duration. I can see playstyle might be similar to Valeera, but if she is tanky and disruptive, it changes her whole purpose and usability.
