There hasn't even been a 7.3 cinematic trailer yet....why are we even thinking there will be a new expansion reveal?

you guys are pretty dumb to think we will see a expansion reveal even this year. Maybe in 2018 or last days in december 2017. The expansion is barely 10 months old. I can bet legion will be the first 3 year expansion and you wont see a new expansion until march 2019.

Why do people make shit up in their heads and convince themselves of things with no basis in logic or evidence? We know that the next raid shows the resolution of the Legion story. We know the raid is part of the 7.3.x patch series. They've ALWAYS announced the next expansion about a year after releasing the live one (aside from Legion, at the Blizzcon the year after release). Given all this, how the hell does anyone get to the quoted point?

Gamescom: Other products to dilute the messaging. They don't control the venue.
Blizzcon: Sold out audience that's all about Blizzard They control the venue and panels.

MoP, WoD, and legion all had around a year from announcement to release, so if they release the next expansion in late july or in august next year Gamescom would be the place to announce it.

they sell out blizzcon tickets within minutes every year, they dont need expansion details there to "sell tickets" and virtual ticket sales barely go up since people just look up the videos and pirated versions of the streams

Im expecting next exp anno on gamescom and release late spring 2018

Late spring would mean a record fast development. Not impossible as you can never rule out deviation from the norm, but I wouldn't count on it. The shortest time an expansion spent in development after the reveal was 11 months with MoP. a May release (late spring) would mean 9 months.

And it would make Legion last only 21 months. Tied with WoD to be the shortest expansion).

How can you say that? Legion isn't over yet, and hasn't even been out for a year. The last tier of WoD was out for longer than all of Legion has been as of this moment.

The last Legion raid will be released in November 2017... At least we give it 6/8 months of life... and we do not know if there will be a minor Patch after that.
The beta could be starts from January and so the 8.0 could be relesed between August/October 2018.
