That is pretty kick ass, just made a lot of guys put their shirts back on HAHAHA. Heart disease is a bitch good thing you are well ahead of it, and able to fight off an alien invasion.

Now I gotta find the number to order Bowflex thanks to you.

Yeah, I do mine exactly like the picture in my mind heh. But yeah no girly push ups, 50 is my max or 60 then less after that in my following sets.

last time i tried to do max in 1 go it was 70+ but havent tried in a while - i do them everyday after waking up during workdays (monday-friday) 2 series of 20 push ups , squats and crunches to wake myself up. works as effectively as morning coffee

Yeah now days i usually just about tap the ground with my chest. Push ups are extremely underrated. Calisthenics in general isn't as popular as is should be. The amount of variations of push ups you can do is insane. My personal favorite is archer pushups.

Used to do 20-30 every now and then when I was bored when I was like 17-19 years old and I'm much stronger now but I mainly work out for strength and not endurance so maybe 50 tops.

At my office every month when they ask for "improvements" I recommend morning calisthenics. I may have mentioned it before on here, just getting up and stretching every hour helps your joints. Personally, every hour or so I walk 12-16 flights of stairs down then up. I get about 100-120 flights/day.

I'd guess close to 2000-3000 ... assuming 20 years or so

Seriously though - none, ever since I did my right rotator cuff 3 or 4 years ago. I do standing pushups against a barbell these days as a strengthener... but nothing serious.

Challenge Mode : Play WoW like my disability has me play:
You will need two people, Brian MUST use the mouse for movement/looking and John MUST use the keyboard for casting, attacking, healing etc.
Briand and John share the same goal, same intentions - but they can't talk to each other, however they can react to each other's in game activities.
Now see how far Brian and John get in WoW.

About thirty, in a row any-way. In sets of ten I tend to do fifty; I try to do them every morning, though lately I've being in a pretty tardy mood regarding, probably due to my diet, so haven't being doing them as often as I would have liked.

50 is about my limit if i push myself as hard as I can, though the form really starts to go 'blegh' after 40.

I do 100 every morning, it's the only way to really wake myself up and get the day started.

40 or so unbroken with good form. Then I start getting sloppy. I've never been good with them. They are heavily included in my exercise program though.

I can do about 20-30 before my wrist begins to really hurt

Broke my scaphoid bone in half a few years ago on my right wrist (a tiny bone in ur wrist that allows for motion)

Unfortunately it has severely limited the motion in my wrist to about 30% of it's intended motion without applied pressure.

So, about 20-30 before my wrist is in pain and unable to continue without rest.

Best answer yet or the funniest.

A little over 100 in one go if I'm really pushing myself although it isn't enjoyable. I'm about 175lbs and honestly not really in shape although I'm not overweight either. Its more about conditioning yourself to do them by doing some daily rather than actually being super muscular or whatever

United States Marine Corps - we do "many" push ups.
in fact: the punishment for not being able to do at least 50 push ups, is to do 50 more.

All you guys saying you can do 100 pushups, you are doing it wrong.
