-Naga racial lets them breathe underwater permanently with an increased swim speed.
-Classes are Warrior, Hunter, Mage, Priest, Rogue, Warlock, Shaman.
-Evolving on from garrisons and order halls are ships. The new followers, called crewmates, are all characters that are members of your race like how Legion had members of your class. The ships are personal like the garrison was, but don’t have much of the amenities the garrisons did so like order halls you won’t spend all day in them.
-Major characters are Jaina, Vol’jin (as a ghost), Alexstrasza, Neptulon, Magni, Gallywix, and Shandris.
-Beryl Cove: Named for the color of its water, this is the second-largest harbor on Kul Tiras outside of their capital Boralus. It's surrounded by jungle and is home to pirates in addition to the Tirassian humans living in the area. Neptulon's elemental army is under attack by the naga and Azshara appears in person here. We get our first hint that something is fundamentally wrong with Kul Tiras and encounter a few non-pirate, Tirassian citizen humans who try to assassinate Jaina. There are also pygmies in the area and we’ll learn a bit about their culture.
-Ara-Hinam: It’s a beautiful lagoon area with both island and underwater segments. Looks kind of like the south part of Krasarang Wilds. The lost childhood home of Shandris Feathermoon sunk under the waves in the Sundering. A wicked darkness stirs beneath it, but the murlocs that have moved in since the area was drowned have kept that darkness in check with mysterious relics far older than they are. When naga invade, Shandris leads her fleet to protect her home and players work with her and the murlocs to stop the naga from finding what they’re looking for. Neptulon is also involved here.
-Black Forest: Visually it’s something like a modern take on Tirisfal or Duskwood, with creepy trees and the feeling something is lurking in the shadows. The Zandalari are still looking for a home to replace their sinking island and have chosen Kul Tiras. The darkness beneath nearby Ara-Hinam has infected the area when they arrived, however, granting the Zandalari landing party Void powers and shattering their minds. The Darkspear lead the assault on them, led by Bwonsamdi, Loa of the Dead, and the spirit of Vol’jin.
-Tirassian Range: A volcanic mountain range that dwarves and gnomes who emigrated to Kul Tiras settled some time ago and made the town of Drisburg. With the arrival of the Alliance and Horde in the area, the Bilgewater goblins have established New Undermine. The two towns fight over ancient artifacts hidden across the mountains and under the volcanos, while we also interact with the red dragons in the area and learn the origin of the relics the murlocs were keeping in Ara-Hinam.
-The Heartland: A fertile field used for farmland, with a forest in the east and fishing villages on the coast. Naga are attacking from the coast and Old God cultists have arisen in Kul Tiras’s population. There’s an Innsmouth reference with naga and one of the villages. Jaina is staying at Proudmoore Estate and trying to keep the peace In a sort of reverse-Suramar, the main plot of the zone is about putting down a rebellion of cultists trying to overthrow the Proudmoores.
-Borel is the capital of Kul Tiras and our city for the expansion. It's on a small island next to the Heartland. It’s led by the Lord Admiral who replaced Daelin, and Jaina’s cousin. Jaina argues against the Horde’s inclusion but she is not the leader of the nation and has no real say.
-Crestfall is a small island east of the rest of Kul Tiras. It's initially used for the naga starting zone. It later becomes an open world battleground like Wintergrasp and Ashran.
-Launch raids:
-The Golden Fleet, a raid consisting of a series of ships ending with our first confrontation with Zul but he gets away.
-Ara-Hinam Depths, where we delve into N’Zoth’s prison beneath Shandris’s old home. The human cultists are also wrapped up here. The raid ends with Azshara usurping N’Zoth’s power and becoming the main villain for the rest of the expansion.
Dungeons:
-Mak’aru, home of the makrura who are attacking Ara-Hinam’s murlocs.
-Writhing Grove, a twisted glen in the Black Forest filled with aberrations.
-Hydraxian Shallows, where the naga are attacking Neptulon’s forces.
-Halls of Protection, we join Magni deep beneath the Tirassian Range.
-Ruby Aery, the climax of the red dragon story in Tirassian Range.
-Proudmoore Keep, but instead of attacking we defend it from the rebellious cultists.
-Zul’Atal, the Zandalari’s base in the Black Forest.
-Boralus Sewers, where naga attempt to invade the city from beneath.
Instanced PVP:
-Lava Fields, a battleground that plays kind of like Kot'mogu but also has flags like AB.
-Tirassian Brig, arena.
