[SPOILERS AND SPECULATION] Illidan and the end of Legion plot twist

What if they pull another Bolvar where everyone thinks he's dead but in reality he's the Lich King and all. Instead of Illidan being Sargeras' jailor, Velen witnesses Illidan forcing the very remaining essence and power of the Titans to kill Sargeras and end his threat once and for all. He also could use the power to bind Sargeras inside of him using him as his new inner demon without being trapped at the Seat of the Pantheon.

Since the Titans say a sacrifice is needed even though all 6 of them are staying there with Sargeras. Illidan probably gets a soulstone to the head and renamed IllAiden. COINCIDENCE?

I don't think they would do it like this solely for the reason everybody would think it is extremely retarded to repeat the ending of WotLK which people already made fun of, without it being a repetition.

People make fun of literally every single story decision Blizzard ever makes. They don't give a shit what you or anyone else thinks in the long run.
