I have seen 14 year olds who look 18+ so yea depending on how the girl looked and where it took place I wouldn't be surprised. Now is it actual rape? Or is it called rape because she's a minor.

This is how i feel. I've seen a lot of minors who definitely looked 18+. Really shitty situation all around if you get lead on. The moment you know her age though, you need to gtfo. Dont do anything before you know shes 18. If she tells you shes 18, but doesnt really prove it, then save the text and hope for the best. Gray area when that shit happens.

The lawyer is just doing his job, which is to try and get the least amount of prison time/punishment as possible for his client. One thing that does puzzle me is this though:

Clearly he knows that the girl was a teen, and it would be really weird if he did not know her exact age, being an employee there. So even if she looked 18, acted 18, and 99.9% of people would not be able to guess she was below 18, he still (with very high possibility knew) that she was indeed only 13.

It is an entirely different situation if he had randomly met her at a bar or something, and genuinely believed that she was above 18.

I don't know what there is to be surprised about at this point, it's pretty standard SJW logic. "Listen and Believe" and all that. They always show their true natures when it comes to crimes like this. They'd rather have North Korean style trials where it's just for show with summary executions.

It would be their job too. Even the worst of humanity deserves a defense. That is a pillar of most country's ideals. Part of the innocent until proven guilty stance that most take. It might piss people off, but that is the way things are.
