A number so big you cannot even fathom it. Not thousands, not hundreds of thousands, not millions, not tens of millions, not hundreds of millions, not billions, not hundreds of billions, its trillions upon trillions.

So please, don't LARP as if 36,000 matters to a 1st world country

    2. How about obese? People as low as 16 stone / 101 kg can be considered obese. Are we talking about these people that are getting time off work and struggling because they're fat? Nigga please. They're clearly speaking of people that need assistance to just exist. 22 stone+. My dad, for example, is one fat motherfucker. Guy is 24 stone last he was weighed and that guy aint slowing down.

Doesn't stop him from welding in a factory for 20 years. Guy wouldn't take the day off if it was his birthday, he had aids and his car wouldn't start.
It's 36K extra. The government already is spending a significant amount for each citizen. Why are round people more special than the rest of us?

See. This is what I've been saying all along. As the expert in this article states, Obese people need our help. Sitting on the sidelines with your hands in your pockets isn't going to cut it.

Either you're doing the right thing or you're not.
Your pro Canadia threads are more amusing than your fat shaming threads.

Obesity is a problem, and when others are paying into a healthcare system as WE SHOULD, yes, I 100% believe this is an issue everyone should care about. I of course don't mean being cruel or making fat jokes, and or whatever asshole measure some people take.

But yes like with smoking or any other unhealthy habit. We already do it with drugs.

I think there is a difference between stating a truth in a constructive way in order to facilitate a healthy and productive conversation is much different than saying.
Saying "Hey Yo fat ass, lost some weight otherwise you are a _________ person" seem more like shaming.

One is about an issue, one is directed at individuals with no actual knowledge.

Well "the game," what exactly would you have us do about old people?

What is it you think medical science can provide to remedy or treat this thing called age?

Seriously aging isn't something that you do, it something that happens to you, and while certainly the things you do while you age make a difference and we should for sure have information for those who do age so they can live healthier.

That is a little different than someone who maybe eats more than they actually need to sustain life, or aren't eating what the body needs to be healthy or injecting drugs into their body.

What do you suggest? The Star Trek episode of a society where everyone is to commit suicide when they reach 60?

Actually aging is a verb. It's something that you do.

Or one that boosts metabolism by 50%. I'd love such a pill, because then I'd be able to eat yummy pastries more often, instead of once in a blue moon.

Age and aging are both active, they are redundant. One just generally refers to past tense.

Fighting for what is right? I don't know about that, I guess it depends on how you frame it. What exactly is this right you are specifically referencing.
