Had a coworker who bought a vehicle from a used dealership that sold him a car that survived a hurricane, but they left that part out. He kept wondering why the electronics kept failing on him while he was driving it. He brought it back to them twice to fix it. The second time he asked them "did this come from Mississippi after that last hurricane?" "No sir, it didn't." He ran the number and sure enough it came from Mississippi.
He told them to keep the car in a not so nice way.
These will be everywhere don't worry about just buying them in Houston.
