So blame "people/the media", not the game company? The game is literally about what the marketing slogan says - the Nazis won the war and are in America. It fits perfectly, and it's aimed at fictional video game characters.

The plot wasn't made after Trump won the election, it's what this series was always about. The previous part was about fighting Nazis in Europe, this is just taking it a step further. If someone believes it's some real life events, that's their problem. Worse, it appearently comes from people who usually criticize the other side for being too sensitive and easily offended.
